We were talking about doing laundry last night, well I have a question for the group. Has any used the Shout Color Catcher? Have you put red clothes with whites? How about blue jeans with yellow nylon nightgown? Who would be willing to do it on purpose? Every time I see the commercial for that product I wish I had the guts to try it. It doesn't address the issue of different water temps or use of bleach.

I see that commercial and think yeah right! Like I'm going to trust my good cloths getting screwed up to try it. I'm fine washing them sperately knowing full well they will come out just like I like them.

Me too! I was going to go tonight, but I decided I'd MUCH rather work on FE gifts! So now I'll be stuck going to Costco tomorrow with 10,000 other nuts who waited till the last minute!

I was one of the crazy last minute shoppers at Coscto tonight and to top it off I decided to buy a new cell phone so I got to go through the long lines twice! What was I thinking!

Got my confirmation from ABC FWS today. My order will be shipped to he Hyatt MCO and will be waiting for me upon check-in. Thanks again, Angela for giving me the website. I had lost it and couldnt find it for the life of me. You saved me a bundle.

You're welcome Tami. I need to go look again at their site, but when I looked yesterday I couldn't find bottled water or corona on there so I figured we just have to go out to a store.

We're officially on vacation, so once we get through our NYE party it really might feel like it too.

I had yesterday off had to work today was hoping to be off and had more PT too I have to work tomorow too and do more running around before I go to work then Saturday pedicure hair color and packing! How long is the scavenger hunt? Is like am all day thing or a few hours?

I've got 6 of the Shout Color Catchers packed in my suitcase. I don't know what I'd do without them. I use them with warm wash/cold rinse. Just looked at the box. It doesn't say anything about using hot water, but I think it would still work. The only caveat on the box is that if you are using front loading machines, you should put the color catcher sheet into a mesh bag or bag for delicates. The website says you can use your regular detergent, etc, and launder as usual.

I usually wash something that I think might bleed with Doug's black slacks for the first time, and toss in a color catcher. If the color catcher sheet comes out colored, then I exercise caution and make sure I always have a sheet in the load the next time. It works, because I've already gone through at least three boxes.

We are packed, except for the last of the toiletries and are ready to go. Discovered this morning that Southwest is sending us through Midway - we thought we were going through Albuquerque, as that's what we asked for in June. Sure hope the weather is okay. Just checked and it still says on time for 9:20 am tomorrow.

Ok SO I wanted to just share a story fast with people who might appreciate my doing things at the last minute, and having something magical happen when you least expect it.

5 years ago just before I went on my first Disney Cruise I was told by that I should bring my tux for formal night. While, my tux was in Minnesota (I was working at disney), so I asked for it to be sent to me, but I happened upon a formal wear store and I found a Joseph Abboud tux that I fell in love with. So I ended up purchasing it and got rid of the old tux that I bought used. Super excited that I owned a brand new tux I wore it plenty of times for formal nights and it came in handy to be honest. Well, since the last time I had to wear it I've "grown" and I just tried it on again this last weekend. While I immediately went to have the pants let out (will be back on monday) but I discovered the jacket just isn't going to fit. Now this really sucks as it can't be let out and it was obvious it was tight on me. So since I'm in love with this tux I went to see how much it would be to replace, and the tux rental places that carry the brand said it'd take a month to get just a new jacket and they don't have used ones to purchase. So I went to Nordstrom's and it was $750 for a new one. Hearfallen I wasn't sure what I was going to do...

As I had a groupon to Nordstrom Rack for $50 I decided to stop in on my way out of the mall. I noticed in the back of the store they have suits. SO I meander back and take a look in the area that has my (new) size and i'm just looking and I see at the VERY end of the row...a tux. And I open the jacket and It's a Joseph Abboud Tux...IN MY SIZE! Exactly like the one I needed to replace, and it was half off (rack price) and then Half off again (on sale) plus my $50 groupon...I got a brand new tux for $99!!!! I'm excited for formal nights again!

I love to hear stories like this and I'm so pleased for you. I get so thrilled when I get something to the check out and it comes up less money than it says on the ticket. Little blessings i say!!! Yours is a big blessing.

There is so much talk around here about the Disney Dream. We plan on going to the port to see it but there are so many conflicting times that it is coming in. Does anyone have any info on it?

Between 4 - 6 AM! Jetty park supposedly has 24 hour a day access.

In my experience, they work GREAT!

I'll have to check out Target next time I'm there. I'm usually in there about 2-3 times a week and have never noticed character things other than a fee tees in kid's clothing.

Yesterday in our target on an endcap in housewares, there were Mickey head chip & dip bowls, snack size bowls and mickey hands appetizer plates!

I'm putting the final touches on the door magnets but for names, I'm wondering if people want Dis Names or if first names are ok? I know there are some FE rooms without a disboard name, and I know there are lots of people without disboard names in the rooms, so I was thinking first names. What do you guys think?

Is anyone considering purchasing the photo CD on-board from Shutters? I think the price is going to be insane, as these are the prices I found for the regular itineraries:

3-night - $249.95
4-night - $299.95
7-night - $399.95

Whether it's this, or one of the photo packages, I forsee spending a fortune at Shutters.

We paid $399 for our photo CD on the WBTA in September. I have budgeted this amount for this cruise as well.

I read on another thread that it's a good idea to make a couple copies of your passports. Leave one with family, leave on in your cabin and/or carry one with you. Then you always have proof of your passport and have the number if it needs to be re-issued.

There is debate about whether you should carry your passport or a copy with you on excursions. But I'd heard that DCL keeps non-US citizen's passports? If that's true, I would definitely bring some copies to carry with.

DH has a UK passport and I have a German passport and we never had our passports kept. Our first cruise was in September 2008.

I think it was something like that price. What I do remember is the number of complaints after the cd. A number of people complained on the thread that whole chunks of pictures were missing and they didn't know it until they got home and looked at the CD, when it was to late to do anything about it.

We had the last 4 days of the cruise missing from the CD. I don't know what happened as they were all on the photo kiosk. Still, I had so much enjoyment out of the photos that I have that I will do it again.

I an praying for Bandit, I know how scary and troubling it is when a pet is sick. My thoughts are with you.

DMiL is coming over today to help finish the FE's and packing. I am so looking forward to having everything done and just relaxing on the ship!
