Jeff, Jack and I just got back from the Wonder and a great (but way to short) cruise. I have lots of pics to upload once I get a moment.
Hi to all the new cruisers!

Hello all!!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Denise, I love that swing set!! That was very clever of your son and his friend making that train!! It looks like everyone had so much fun!!

Well, we have been at war with wood ants, and it looks like we are losing!! It's time to call an exterminator. Not looking forward to that bill!!

Denise, I love the train! I'm surprised my DH and DS haven't tried it.

When we went to Ca last year, a few houses were wrapped up I guessed getting de bugged, my cousins wife told me when she first moved out to Ca she thought that people were giving each other houses for presents and wrapping them up:lmao::lmao::lmao: what a divvy.

You know, I love that train too, but when I looked again.....the kids dont seem overly impressed,:confused3 I think its flimin great!

welcome to the thread!! we are from RI so it will be nice to get to know you more!! hopefully the flood waters spared you
Just 5 miles out of RI but not bad compared to what some areas in RI got hit with. So odd how some areas were completely in ruins while a couple of miles away was business as usual. Was it bad for you?

Warning, picture heavy post!

Current beers at Diversions, apparently a bit of a pain to find. Thankfully Strongbow is still there.

That little red dot in the middle was the atlas rocket launch Thursday. We were roughly 30 miles off shore. The coolest part of seeing the launch was this:
IMG_3267.JPG

That would be the rocket going overhead. It went directly overhead. The boosters separated right before this, you could actually see them tumbling down to Earth, but I couldn't get a picture of that.
I wanted to get a pic of the new "adult area" including the new Cove. I didn't realize that the upstairs part of the Cove went around the entire upstairs.

Somebody posted in the main forum about the DCL ships looking like bath tub toys. Well you decide:
IMG_3318.JPG

Granted, the Oasis wasn't in, but the MSC ship on the end was pretty big.
I'm sorry I didn't go out there, but I didn't think about it. But you can see Pelican Plunge and the cabanas in the distance.

That's it, there's more in the google album if anyone is interested.

Love the pics! I had no idea about the Cove Cafe, that expansion looks amazing! So what is it like inside on the upstairs part? Is it like another adult lounging area?

They did love it but the picture I posted was the one that we told them it would be their last ride before taking the train back. They weren't too happy that we had to put it away but the kids never would have went home otherwise!;)

Just checkingin..had garage sale all weekend and still working on finishing our bathroom remodel.

Heading off to catch up on some TIVO.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

We had a crazy suprise when we got home tonight. It looks as if we may have had a small tornado or something. The kids outdoor play stuff (covered sandbox, climber/slide thing, etc) were blown all over the yard. The lid for the sandbox and the main part of the climber were about 100 feet to one side of our yard up against the fence and the slide had been torn off of the climber and was about 40 feet in the other direction. There was also a large piece of soffet in our back yard (enclosed by a 6ft fence) which upon closer inspection, was not from our house. The dining room window had leaked a bit too but that's all we could tell as we came home after dark and it was still raining. I'll check with the neighbors and look around some more in the morning and probably we will need to get up on the roof and check to see if we lost any shingles too. I feel so bad for our dogs, who were outside. Everyone's fine and all...just a strange night.

we live in westerly, our town got hit the worst but with that being said, where our house is is like one tenth of a mile from the beach and the flooding was mostly overflow from the pawcatuck river so needless to say we stayed dry. others were not so lucky though the other end of town was underwater people lost their whole basements, cars ...just everything it was awful and the town has never seen anything quite like this before. lots of businesses were ruined as well and are in need of rebuilding.

How strange. Glad you and the dogs are all safe.

Weve had lots of tornado pics on the news here over the weekend, pretty scary stuff, glad youre ok.

JEN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> brilliant pics.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Glad you and the family are safe, Tammy! Scarey stuff!

Absolutely nothing happened here, this weekend. Rain was predicted, but it never got north of Albany, so it was just grim and grey.

Happy day, y'all.

The weather last night in Florida was insane. Around 1 am we woke up to the power going out and non stop lightning and thunder. The lightning was constant, you could have read easily by it it was so frequent, maybe a second or two in between bolts.
Tammy I wouldn't doubt you had a twister, it was that kind of weather.
