Hmm.... given the choice between shooting a picture of the three ship together, and being on one and shooting a picture of the other two, I think I'll take the latter :rolleyes1

Maybe it's a CA thing...I'm with you on this one.

I must confess, I am partly self motivated with regard to this. Could we do a review of the bracelets, the pc crossing certificates, the shirts, and the fish extenders? I can't recall who to contact and it would be nice for the newer people to have an update on these items.

On that note, hello all you new people!

Nice pictures Jen!

Wild weather! Glad everyone and pets are safe!

Love the train thing!!! How great!

My understanding is that the organizing of some things will ramp up, the closer we get to sail date. It might be good to have an some general information on the website if it is not there already (like what is a FE, how do you participate, what are the PC crossing certificates), but it is still too far out for specifics.

I am planning on organizing the PC certificates, but I won't start looking at actual costs and the logistics of that in more detail until the end of August - after I have come back from our vacation to Europe (really have to go back and see family, so a lot of logistics and planning going on for that LOL). I am thinking that official sign up for certificates will start sometime in September, after final payment date has passed

Jeff - If you want me to put together some general info on the PC certificates, eg. what are they, idea of cost etc, let me know (drop me a PM so it doesn't get lost in the forum).

My DW and I seriously thinking of going on this trip with our our DD and DS. We were on the first Transatlantic and had the time of our life. I have a small dilemma, I will not know until mid-October if I will get the time off. Right now it looks hopeful but I can't commit any dollars to the vacation until we are certain. My hope is that this trip will be similar to the TA that we took in May. With so many kids back in school it may not fill up. Anyone have any thoughts or know if the ship is getting booked up? Please only give me good news. I really want to go.
Thanks!

I don't know if anyone saw this, and I wonder what the chances now are for the three ship photo op? DCL has cancelled the 10 night New Years cruise and split it into to 5 night cruises. So on Jan 6 the Magic is at CC. On the 7th she is at sea now instead of leaving Nassau at 2. I think personly this raises the chances. What do you all think?
That would be great........

Largely good news I think....

The "bad" news is that the cruise is obviously selling reasonably well - there are no category 11 available. However every other category is available.

It's a safe bet that there will be availability come early September. Paid in full date is, I believe early September - and you can be certain some will drop out at that time as the reality of the costs comes into play. So cabins will be available.

In terms of the kids, things are a bit trickier - since the ship has limits at each age range. Given the time of year, it's a safe bet that there will be room for older kids and teens - but pre-school age may bump up against the limits.

My guess would be that by mid-October it's almost certain there will still be space on the ship. It is less certain that cat 11 or 12 will be available or that there will be space for pre-school kids.

On the other hand - if a lot of people drop out you may not only see space available - you may see discounting in the form of category 12 pricing. So it could actually work in your favor.

:cool2:

I said I'd keep the FE list, beginning in September, after the "pay off " date. But I'm actually wondering if it will really be necessary to have another list.

Most likely, virtually everyone will participate.

We already know who's in each cabin as far as #s of kids, ages, and so forth on the cruise website, where I believe Jeff has marked all the cabins as well.

The groups of people who join on a single group gift will have their own lead person.

What do y'all think?

We might have to modify the list on the webpage to indicate who and who doesn't want to participate, as I already know of 2 groups who don't want to do the FE.

I wasn't thinking of me taking the picture of course, because I will definitely be on the Wonder. :cool1::cool1::thumbsup2 But MommaluvsDis brought up a neat idea. Wouldn't it be neat if they lined all 3 ships up at sea for a publicity shot from a helicopter? Would definitely have to buy that picture since I would be on one of the ships. :cool1::cool1:

I agree that if if it is on the web site we wouldn't necessarily need a second list.

Cat 12s were never available, it was cat 11c, only 2 days ago they had 11bs, I think they come and go.

Best of luck. dAn, Im not being clever, its just that I am a cheapskate:lmao:

I just heard that Cat 11C are now available again on the PC cruise. It is true and they are showing at least 7 Cat 11C(old Cat. 12) rooms available. I priced it out and the price is higher( about $400) than what I paid back in October for my Cat 11B.

I hope this means that I will pixiedust:get an upgrade. I can hope right?:wizard: I would be so happy to get a Cat. 10 or 9 room.

I just checked for 2A/0C and the first available cabin showing is 10C, so I guessed those old 12 got snatched up pretty quickly. Anyway, there are still a lot of cabins available in other cats and I too would be so happy for an upgrade (in GTY 11B now). Not counting on it, but it would be nice to have. But, I'm just happy to be going on this cruise!!!

I know I said I would do the Secret Mickey but I believe we agreed that I would also wait closer to final payment date.

It will get here before we know it!

Husband got his US Passport today. He became a US citizen in March! Can't wait. Waiiting on June 3rd to get here so I can change resorts.

See, I ask for good news and you came through, Thanks!
I wish I could lock it up earlier but we will just have to wait awhile. I will keep checking in here and follow you all until it gets closer.

Last time we did the TA cruise I booked it 2.5 weeks out. My DW had a small nervous breakdown trying to get ready, I hope to give her a little more notice this time.

Thanks again for the info.
