Ooooo...I like the tooth fairy concept! My DD loves to stay up late, so we would have a great time wandering the ship in the middle of the night :thumbsup2

You could put the laundry in the machine as it would probably be quieter then, and go off delivering your FE gifts!!

When we did the magnets the first PC cruise, it didn't take all day.
Where do you buy your magnetic paper? We are constantly making magnets not jsut for cruises but for photo frames for the family. Wondering if there is somewhere I can buy it in bulk for less money than craft/printing stores.

I buy the Staples brand from of course, Staples. They are nice and glossy and stick well to the stateroom doors. They are pricey though, as are any other brands I've researched, but for me they are so convenient and high-quality, much better than using the little stick on weaker magnet strips. However, I think if you google magnetic paper you can find office websites that may have them in bulk for cheaper.

Try Amazon. I'm looking now and see some decent deals. As for bulk, not sure about that...

I saw it in the Oriental Trading company craft magazine. You could order the strips, dots or whole sheets of paper. I have never checked it out anywhere else, so I don't know how good the price is, but I think it was around $10 for 12 paper-sized sheets...is that a good price?

That is an excellent price, assuming they are good quality sheets. Some are glossy and others are not, and obviously some are probably not as thick, thus not as strong. There are a lot on Amazon right now I just looked, that are about the same price, just over a dollar per page if you break it down. I get a lot of free stuff from staples rewards so I'll probably just stick with them because I love the quality and know what I'm getting, but if you are willing to try another brand, these seem like a great price on Amazon!

We (my daughter and her two sons, and myself) have just put together a last minute trip to Disneyworld, the 19th thru the 24th... anyone else going to be there on any of those days?
Since I'll be doing the Panama Canal cruise on my own, I thought it might be nice to meet up with some of the rest of you before then......

If you MUST have the exit row, I don't believe there's any way to guarantee it on SWA. You can narrow the odds, but you can't guarantee. (and Alan knows)

I got an exit row aisle seat with boarding number B-2 last month.

Not even thinking much about this cruise until the Baltic cruise is over with...

Hey there fellow sask cruisers! We just booked our air for the cruise and we are flying out of the states. We were able to do $443 p/p so we were pretty happy with that. We are flying out of Grand Forks, ND. Where in sask are you guys from? Hope everyone is doing great!

Hey! We're from the middle of nowhere. We are pretty much equadistant from MJ Stoon and Regina. What carrier are you flying out of grand forks? Is the flight direct? Non stop? I am guessing you live in the south? Is this your first cruise? Kids?

It's still June 10th and still your birthday, pahrumpgirl!! Happy birthday, Carol!!

Hope you had a good one!

My DD and I are inside the Orphem in San Francisco waiting to see Wicked. I'm so excited since I have never seen it!

You will have to tell me what you think. I would like to see it, but not sure if we will get chance to before it closes. I had to choose between Peter Pan and that. Peter Pan seemed more suited for younger kids.

Enjoy

Wow, you got an Exit with B-2. That's shocking. I am impressed. Well have to finish watching the Lakers, hopefully beat the Celtics tonight then off to see a midnight show of the A-Team. I loved that show as a kid, so I hope I will like the movie.

DH went on Ebay and found 25 sheets for less than even Staples. We were using Staples Brand but when they were out of stock one day MommaLuvsDis suggested Ebay.

Thank you. I am another day older. It was a nice quiet day. No big celebration

We're going to see "Wicked" in August when it comes to Columbus. We have read the series so far and a couple of his other books. It will be interesting to see how "Wicked" is interpreted. It was an "interesting" read.

Good Morning!

Don't know what my fe gift will be yet, but i'm planning on 100. There will be so much stuff from 100 participants.

Happy Birthday Carol! (Sorry I'm late)

Happy Day, all!

Happy Birthday Carol - a day late but best wishes none the less.

TGIF is all I have to say. Looking forward to a quiet weekend. Had to take Walter (the brown dog) to the vet yesterday, had a yeast infection in his ear the poor baby. Funny how I didn't even notice it Tuesday, Wednesday he seemed miserable, shaking his head all the time and yesterday he even held his head kind of crooked. They did the smear, flushed it out, gave him a shot, gave me pills, drops and wash to do at home and we have to go back in 2 weeks. Seemed a bit better this morning - at least he was playing with Tracker which he wouldn't even do last night. Monday poor puppy Tracker goes in to get fixed.

I'm late with the birthday wishes! I hope your day was magical!

Just a quick hello..off to the dentist for my daughter and then another local adventure!

Have a great weekend everyone! We're off to our other Happy Place on the Mendocino coast for a nice long weekend.

Wicked was WONDERFUL!!! I highly recommend it! My DD is 12 (but she actually had a chance to see it before in NY when she was 10), and there was a group of very young girls in front of us last night (I would guess ages 7 or 8), so I think it works for young kids---It has some really funny parts. This play was a Mother's Day gift from my mom and she was able to get orchestra seats for $40--great seats, right on the center aisle, so maybe there is a chance you can get a deal like that:cool1:

How was A-team??? I grew up watching it as well, so my sis and I are taking my dad this weekend. From the previews it looks like they copied the original well---did they?

Happy Belated Birthday!!!
I heard the books were not nearly as good as they made the play...I was going to read them until someone told me they weren't very good. What do you think? Is "interesting" synonymous for "bad?" The concept is facinating---take the "evil" character and make them the victim:idea:
