Let the weekend begin! Enjoy!:goodvibes

One more week until we run away for the weekend to Little River (Fort Bragg, CA), my other happy place.
Hey...Im working all weekend:mad:
Feeling good now thanks. Had a couple of days when i just felt out of sorts and completely drained, but that went. I think I had been overdoing things for a couple of days. So I was put back on resting(sort of) for a while!!!!:lmao: I'm not a very good patient really. I expect to just jump straight back in there and just can't do nothing. 2 weeks now, so that's it now, just no heavy lifting or gardening etc!! I can cope with that forever!!!!!!!:rotfl2:
Glad you are good.
LOl,I had a major abdo op a few years ago, anyway, I was meant to be resting, len was cutting the hedge,(MY JOB) anyhow, he was bugging me, I grabbed the trimmers and done it myself, he went on and on about how and why I shouldnt be doing it,anyhow, we went to the docs for a postop check and the slime ball clyped on me to the dr, I was going to kill him.
Yeah, I don't blame you;) If I were in your shoes, I would be wary too. But, I thought it worth mentioning. Normally I am quite OCD about these things, however, I do trust Hotwire...I once booked a hotel in Victoria, Canada while on the Ferry over:rotfl: It was actually one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever stayed at!!

I RECEIVED MY FE TODAY!!!!!!!!! I liked it so much I decided to share:hug:

Have a great weekend everyone...I'm going "home" for a couple of weeks to visit my family---Northern California here I come!!!
~Melissa
Hey, Mel, thats lovely.
That's great news Poohbug about your son's principal letting him make up work!

I love your FE Melissa!! Did you order it from ebay?

Well, tomorrow my baby is going to her prom. I can't believe she is graduating from high school in a couple of weeks. I have mixed feelings about this. I'm happy for her and very proud, but I am sad at the same time. It's so hard when they grow up and leave the nest!
Of course we will need some pics please.
GOOD Morning everyone!

That's a beautiful Fish Extender! Some one is very clever.

Granmaz, TAKE CARE of yourself, will you please???

Happy day, all!

Good Morning to you too Linda

Glad you are good.

Oh I know how you feel!!!!:lmao:

Good Morning everyone!

I called first thing and was able to get a studio at BLT! Where not going to be visiting the parks but DS just wants to ride the monorail anyway. I asked him what ride he wanted to ride the most the next time we go the parks and he said he just wants to ride the monorail! To bad I can't make DD that happy that easy. Anyway, I want to eat breakfast at the Poly and finally try Tonga Toast and it will be super easy to get over there. So glad a studio was still available :goodvibes

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.

Okay,

Carol (pahrumpgirl), Doug, Steve and I have our pre-cruise studios booked at The Villas at Wilderness Lodge. Thinking of taking Happy Limo to the port on the 6th so we can make an adult beverage stop on the way.

One more thing done!

Have gotten a little behind things. just found out my dad, who will be 94 in august, has a tumor in his stomach. up till 6 months ago you would have thought he was 70!! so we've not made reservations or flights or anything. DH doesn't drink, so i'll buy the few i get on board. but we'll probably come down tues after work and stay in some DVC. Since I'm behind, i wasnt sure - anyone scheduling a WDW meet? I'm thinking downtown or something, not in the parks, in case people dont want to use a ticket. if no one has thought about it, i'll think about places and stuff but after we get my dad settled, so later this month. thanks!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I hope he is remains comfortable.

My MIL is 94 this July and is failing, but she is far from comfortable unfortunately. Everything is just wearing out - the latest being her bladder. Bless her she is ready to go and fed up.

My MIL is 91 and ready to go as well. She's homebound and hurts all the time.

She asks me all the time why can't she just go? I don't know what to say other than she'll go when God's ready for her.

Thats why I LOVE my job, I can let the animals go when they are ready to go,I only wish someone could do for me what Ive done for all my animals, I know its contraversial but this is only my opinion, I dont think folks should agree with me.

It is a difficult one isn't it? My MIL is a Christian and prays for God to take her. She has just phoned John to let him know(again) that her bladder is worn out and she is dying now.:confused3

On a happier note. Have any of you actually booked airfares? I am holding off, but somehow that booking really makes it all real and then planning can begin in earnest!!

We have the WBTA in September, and I haven't really begun planning properly for that yet. This morning was Gold members reservation booking and I got my 3 Palo meals, but haven't booked anything else yet.

Very excited!!!:cool1:

We have our air...we got it for just about 125.00 each on AA... We decided to just go ahead because it got us there at the time we wanted to. I really need a direct flight as flying is not my thing.

We are waiting for SW to book our flights. We looked into a rental car from Disney to PC but with all the extra stuff they tax on it was cheaper for us to do the DCL transport. Plus it is included in the cost of our cruise along with the DL transfers too. I know it does not get there until 1pm or later bit we are going to be on the ship 15 nights so I am ok with that. Plus I have always wanted to go on the cruise line bus. We have 4 nights at BCV in a studio. We love to go to MK our last night and watch the fireworks and then look forward to the cruise the next am. I think the am of the cruise if time allows we will have breakfast with Minnie at Cape May. We did this before our Hawaii cruise and it was such a great memory. Probably a massage and pedi at Gran Floridian Wednesday afternoon.

I was originally waiting for a sale, but I'm thinking Virgin and BA won't be having them this year now!!!!!

We are now planning on flying back to Orlando at some point, depending on what we do after the cruise. We were planning to have a few days at DL, a few in San Diego, then go along to Tucson as we love it there and thought the weather would be very pleasant and we could do some of the things we couldn't so at the time we went before and it was 110 deg or more!!! Then travel up to Phoenix to see a couple of folk and fly to Orlando from there with Southwest, which would be direct to Orlando. However all the accommodation is hugely expensive as it is peak time for Arizona.:scared1: When we have gone in June they usually have fantastic hotel deals so we are spoilt!!! So we are back to square one. Southwest doesn't fly direct to Orlando from LA I think.
