Just a quick hello from the middle of our Orlando trip. Finished up Universal yesterday and checked out of Royal Pacific, and we are now at the Sea World Springhill Suites. We are having a blast. Missed day four at Uni because my daughter was sick, and now I doubt we will go back this visit because we were spoiled by the express passes! In retrospect I truly wish we'd just stayed off site and bought the passes. It would have been cheaper since its just the two of us, and my daughter hated Royal Pacific. She's having a blast here at the smaller hotel, she's in the pool right now. Staying on site forced us to do all of our Universal days in a row, and by day four she was exhausted and feeling sick. It was just too much of a good thing, lol!

We went to Aquatica today and had so much fun. It was just what we needed. We had free dining, and the Banana Beach Cookout was a nice place to chill out for a bit and have a bite to eat. Lightning in the distance shut everything down at three, but we were pretty much ready to go by then anyway. We will do Sea World tomorrow. We have the quick queue passes, but it's only one per ride, so I'm hoping we can hit the coasters first thing when it's not too crowded yet and save the pauses for later in the day. Rain in the forecast again tomorrow, and Im hoping everything doesn't close up at three again bc of that.

Our last two days will involve some shopping, Downtown Disney, the Fun Spot, and Disney Quest. Then Tuesday is time for the long drive home. I will do a proper trip report after we get home, but if you have any questions while I'm still here, ask away!

So good to hear from you! I've been looking forward to your reports as I have read lots of your per planning Ida's etc. did you go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show?

Sorry to hear your daughter has been sick, but glad you are having a great time! We just returned from a Universal, Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Aquatica, Typhoon Lagoon, Downtown Disney trip on 8/11. Had a great time, as well! Had never been to Aquatica and really enjoyed it! We stayed the week at Cypress Pointe, just outside Downtown Disney. Had a 3 bedroom there for the 4 of us. It was fantastic! We were shocked that they had the Stacy channel...Disney's Must-Do's. We watched that the rest of the week. We missed Disney, but we were just there in April. We didn't have Express passes, or Quick Que's, but found US and Seaworld's main attractions easy to do if there at opening. We ate dinner at Downtown Disney 2 nights and did Splitsville our last night. It was a lot of fun!!! :)

Have a great rest of the trip and have a safe trip home!!

We sure didn't. We've been having fourteen hour days most days, and Syd has been passing out by ten pm or so. We were going to go tonight, but she's already asleep.

Today we went to Sea World first thing in the morning, and by ten am she was complaining about the heat and saying her stomach hurt. We rode Manta four times, saw Blue Horizons, did the penguin ride, then caught the first shuttle back to the hotel. I decided a day indoors was in order, so we went to Disney Quest. It was storming by the time we got there, so it was packed! Long lines to play all the games. We stayed about four hours, then left to eat dinner and for her to trade pins at the Disney store. We will hit Fun Spot tomorrow and maybe do a little more pin trading. Then we will spend Monday at Sea World since we still have the free dining to use.

Fun Spot was so much fun. We got there at ten am and stayed until after nine pm with a three hour lunch and shopping break. I could have easily stayed til midnight, but we have an early last day of fun tomorrow. I highly recommend the Fun Spot location in Orlando. Great new rides and some of the friendliest staff around.

Finally home. The trip was tons of fun despite a very rainy last day which foiled a lot of our Sea World plans. I will try to post a trip report tomorrow!
