From THIS list, your favorite TV show from the 80's?

I voted Family Ties, but it would have been a tie with Who's the Boss and Silver Spoons had they been the options. I was soooo in love with the Rickster and I really wanted Alyssa Milano to be my big sister!

Since you didn't list Growing Pains, I voted for Family Ties.

I was gonna say the same thing, oh and I also loved Who's the Boss. Those were my 3 favorites. Kirk Cameron was my first love. And I named my son Alex because when I was 12 I loved Alex P. Keaton's name and it stuck with me.

St. Elsewhere....was one of the best of it's time. Loved that show....

...as an aside... we enjoyed the beginning and end where they showed the hospital. At the time it was a senior citizen residence, but in the 50's and 60's it was a "Residence for Young Women". I lived there for about 6 mos before finding an apartment - fresh out of the convent and they were not sure my references were good enough - maybe they wanted one from the Pope??

Tough list to pick from. I had a hard time picking between Cosby Show and Family Ties. I actually enjoyed all of those shows so was very hard to pick.

I absolutely love that show.

Me too but since I could only choose one...me loves me some young Don Johonson backed up by that gritty Phil Collins music. I can hear the drum beat any time I want .... in my head. Miami Vice and Magnum P.I. were the shows my husband and I used to LOVE to watch. PD - HOW could you forget Magnum???? We have ALF but no Magnum, lol!!!
