From the Santa Fe to the Cheyenne

I was a bit last night when I saw the advert for 40% off, after alot of deliberation I picked up the phone and asked disney how much it would be to upgrade to the Cheyenne from the Santa Fe (I would have preffered the Sequioa Lodge but that had no avaliability). To my surprise it was less than what I had paid for the Santa Fe, I expected I would have to pay a fee to amend the booking - this was not the case and I saved £12! So its cowboy time for us.

thats brilliant!! the Cheyenne seems to be cheaper then SF when ive look up prices lately
ive just priced SF and Cheyenne for the dates ive booked, march 1st to 4th as ive gotten an email about a new offer and the SF is €536 while the Cheyenne is €462 the new offer includes all meals in both prices. we booked too early and missed the free meal but its ok.

Hi, I'm probably sounding a bit thick with this one
but...we are booked in at the SF at the beginning of January, so does this mean if I call and upgrade to Cheyenne I will get some money back?????

Not necessarily - first you should check online for your dates to see if the Cheyenne comes in cheaper than what you've already paid - as not all hotels and dates are covered by the new offer .

I checked online first as really I wanted the Sequioa Lodge on 40% (no avaliability) and the Cheynne came up cheaper, phoned disney for the resort change I did ask how much it would be first and a few minutes later im booked in to the Cheyenne and having £12 refunded to my card. It's worth giving them a call just incase.

yep it's always worth looking into, we've added an extra day and night to our stay at the cheyenne for only £7.80!!
