From the GF to Pop??

Background story:

We leave next week for 10 fabulous days at the Grand Floridian- can't wait!!

We are already going next December for 8 nights either at CR or WL.

But now, we may throw is a SURPRISE trip for DS's 5th birthday in June 2008 for 4 nights. We are debating between Pop and CBR since we don't want to spend the money on 2 deluxe trips in 1 year. We have never stayed at value before but think the theming at Pop seems like fun idea for a 5 year old boy.

We probably would spend a minimal amount of time at the resort since we are on a short trip, but do you think the Pop rooms will seem way to small? Is it worth it to upgrade to CBR for a little extra space?? (It is just DH, DS and myself)

I love Pop we are staying there for the 4th and 5th time this year. It is very clean the CM's are helpful and nice. You definitely will notice smaller beds and smaller rooms compared to GF, but you will also notice a smaller bill.

If you do decide to go with a moderate, then you have made a good choice with CBR. It's rooms are larger than the rest of the moderates, in fact it is the same size as the rooms at WL & AKL. The values are pretty tight, but as the other poster said, there is something to be said about having a very light bill!

Pop will be a major change bet for the extra trip it is well worth it
