I love the photos of the Beach Club. Am I understanding correctly that we will be able to walk to Epcot from the BC? Also, what else would be within walking distance?

Thank you!

Yes, the BC is within walking distance to both Epcot and DHS. Epcot is about a 5 minute walk, while DHS is about 15-20, depending on your pace ;).

The location can't be beat. You can walk to Epcot in less than 5 minutes, DHS in about 15 minutes, the Boardwalk in about 5 minutes, restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin in 5-7 minutes.

So many great options to walk to :thumbsup2

Besides Epcot & DHS, you can walk to The Boardwalk, Yacht Club, Swan & Dolphin - for a variety of entertainment & dining! There is also mini golf across from The Swan & Dolphin that is within walking distance.

theme parks - just Epcot and Studios

but you have the great pool at BC - plus you can visit YC, BCV, Dolphin, Swan and BW.

at night you can go visit the BW area. the area also has some nice restuarants

Oh, and don't forget it's the gateway to World Showcase! I guess that's technically EPOT, but seems like a different world to me.

Such a short walk to the Boardwalk, which is a wonderful place to visit. The pleasure of a boat ride to HS.... I'm sure you will like it!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thank you ever so much for the quick replies. I look forward to being able to pay it forward someday.

The BC sounds just lovely and what we want - calling tomorrow to book :)

Although you can walk to Hollywood Studios, I prefer to take the boat. It is a fairly quick ride and saves the tired feet.

Great choice Miss Charlotte! You'll love it:love:

You can even take the monorail to MK - just walk through Epcot.

The only thing you should be aware of is you'll be entering from the back entranced off of World Showcase. You come in between France and England. If you go early, they will let you walk up to future world, but have the back part of World Showcase roped off until 11AM.

Personally, I LOVE the back entrance. There's hardly ever a wait (unless the boat has just dropped off people) and it's great to be within walking distance to the room.

I like International Gateway more because our family loves World Showcase. When we stay at BC, we visit it just about every day.

It is a bit of a hike in the morning to get to the front of Future World but easy to get back to the resort after Illuminations. Hardly any crowds to navigate through because most people are headed to the park entrance No waiting for those loooong bus lines.

Wonderful! Thank you for the info - now I'm just getting too darn excited about going! Disney fever? I think so! :)

Best resort on property IMHO, due to being walking distance to Epcot, the Boardwalk area, Hollywood Studios and the Swan /Dolphin. S&D have a couple of nice restaurants.

There's just a lot to do in that area. I love being on the Boardwalk at night just meandering around people watching,or watching the entertainment. Feels like a calmer version of "nightlife" for us old people! ;)

Thanks Disney Doll - that sounds like just what I'm looking for. This will be a quick trip with my older sister for her birthday and we'll be taking my twin 10 year old sons. Can't wait!

I can't agree more with this, and this is one of the major reasons why we love the Epcot resort area. While everyone is waiting to get on a bus, monorail, tram to their car, we are getting into bed for the night :goodvibes. The other reasons is because it is so gorgeous, love SAB, one of our favorite character breakfasts are inside (Cape May Cafe), the staff is always so friendly and helpful, Beaches and Cream has my favorite sundae (No Way Jose), and the atmosphere is so laid back and relaxing. Plus you are in walking distance to so many great restaurants and the BW which is so much fun at night. Have a wonderful time at BC :goodvibes
