From S.Bound turnpike to Movies?

You can get off Florida's Turnpike at I-4 (circuitous ramps), then follow I-4 to Osceola Parkway, follow the signs for Animal Kingdom but more precisely to Blizzard Beach and/or All Stars. At the botton of the ramp to BB & AS, turn left, goes directly into AS Movies.

Alternate: Florida's Turnpike connects directly with Osceola several miles after intersecting I-4.

Actually a shorter and less congested way would be to get off exit 288 onto Route 27 South. Follow that South for about 20 miles and get on to Route 192 East Bound. Follow that to World Drive where you will make a left into WDW. (It's well marked.) From there follow the signs to your resort. Route 27 is 65 mph almost the entire length.

This way will save you tolls and congestion. There is a nice Publix (Grocery Store) on 27 about 6-8 miles south of where you get off the Tpke. It will be on your left immediately after you pass Legends Golf Club on the right and Kings Ridge on your left.

How many traffic lights do you hit on Rte 27?

I do know there are a lot of them on 192 in the last 3 miles before World Drive (Main Gate).

Coming up World Drive from 192 or from the south, first follow the Animal Kingdom signs. After the cloverleaf onto Osceola Parkway west, look for All Star and/or Blizzard Beach signs.

Two, maybe three, and probably the longest of them is the one at the Publix.

If there were a lot of lights there wouldn't be a 65mph speed limit.

I am building a house up near the intersection of 27 and 50, and we've made a LOT of trips during many different hours of the day up and back, and have never hit traffic until we are about a mile from World Drive.
