Thursday, was the day we were to make the move from POR to the Beach Club. I woke up early to finish packing, and grabbed one last breakfast at the POR Food Court.. The plan was to keep my grandson busy fishing and swimming, while mom took care of having our bags moved from POR to the Beach club. The luggage was picked up by 9 a.m..

We were at the 'Ole Fishin Hole' at 8:15.. The fish loved the hotdogs handed out as bait that day. By 10:15 a,m,, we were off to Epcot. My grandson had caught a few fish and also a few box turtles that morning. The move to the Beach Club was suppose to be a surprise.

Our first stop after reaching Epcot was to get Fastpasses for Soarin. We stopped at the Kidcot spot also, next to the Garden Grill restaurant, in the Land Pavillion. We went from there to the very crowded Living Seas. Took quite a long time to actually make it inside by the sea life. We stopped at the Kidcot spot inside the Living Seas, and then got in the line for Turtle Talk. We waited about 30 minutes. The show is actually quite good.

We had time to do the Kidcot spot at Test Track and went to see Figment at the Imagination pavillion. It was then time to ride Soarin. Well, let me say, Soarin definitely deserves all it's rave reviews. I smelled pine trees, but not orange trees. I actually lifted my feet, afraid they would touch the water we went over. There are actually a few hidden Mickeys in the ride, I have been told. Check in the golfing scenes and of course the fireworks scene at Disneyland.

It was time for a good burger at Electric Umbrella, before the 4 p.m. check in at the Beach Club Villas. The burgers were excellent. They have a great toppings bar. While mom left the table, my grandson looked at me and asked, " So when are we going to the Beach Club?" I replied, so who told you? He said mom can't keep a secret, and he admitted that he kinda, also figured it out. He was very excited, and could not wait to see Stormalong Bay.

Upon entering the lobby, the CM's were rather stoic. Well first impressions can be deceiving. We had a delightful check in with a smiling lady, who was kind enough to fix the misspelled room key. They had spelled my grandson's name incorrectly. They answered all my questions, gave me directions, gave them again, as I didn't quite get it, and then called Bell Services for our bags. Our bags almost beat us to the room. A very nice gentleman, named Arnie, delivered them.

My grandson opted to skip Epcot, in favor of a swim at Stormalon Bay. I took a leisurely stroll over to the Boardwalk and back. Went back to the room and filled out a breakfast menu for morning room service. My breakfast should arrive at 7 a.m., but would it? Return tomorrow, and find out.
