From Pop to the Top - Funtastic Adventures in the Summer Sun!

I am in the midst of trying to stir up an Atlanta DIS meet in September. Jill and I were talking this morning, and she said she needed our Disney trip to hurry up and get here. I suggested another Disney Store trip to Memphis. She said she thought Atlanta was just as close, if not closer, so in brainstorming, I am thinking we could not only have a DIS meet with all of our Georgia friends, but Trent could possibly drive up to ATL. He thinks the weekend of the 11th might be best for him. It will be awesome if he can come and Dawn, Jackie, Heather, and whoever else is willing to travel! I am so excited about the possibility of this happening to help ease the time between now and October.

Count me as another one excited about the possibility of an Atlanta DIS meet! You know I love the thought of it!!!

I have to confess that I didn't actually keep a list -- I just scrolled through them and yelled them out!

Yes, I was this far behind! What a lovely sentiment! Your students are very lucky to have a teacher like you I hope they have all begun to adjust well by this point and that you will have a great school year!

I haven't been able to spend nearly as much time on the DIS as I would like in the last few weeks, so I didn't play your alphabet game, but you did a great job with it - I can't wait to see everyone's guesses!

You haven't missed anything. We have been stuck for about two weeks, so we've done the alphabet and party pictures. If Jill doesn't have time to put the pictures in tonight or tomorrow the way she likes to do them, I'll just pull them up myself and do it in bulk for the next little while until she gets a chance to. I add them in a big group, but she likes to put them in by day. Since life will slow down for her as of when she gets off tonight, she should be able to put up the next day's worth, and we can move on.

I hope the DIS meet works out for everyone. Right now, it seems like everyone is free and up for it. Trent had mentioned coming back up here in September when he left, so this should work nicely for him and save him some money. He had a hard time saying goodbye. We all did. We will be ready to be with him again, and then add in the chance to see all of you guys and meet Hollie and Hannah and Connor AND go to a Disney Store - it all sounds fantastic to me!

He will be excited. He might be a little overwhelmed and in awe at first with all the sights and sounds. I hope he will do well with the characters so that you can get some memorable pictures.

This is their first test Friday, so this is the day that gets them ready for how we will do things all year. It's important to make a point on this day, so I am pretty strict on them.

I will be leaving Disney to come home on the 11th. If we did not have a direct flight we would be stopping in Atlanta to change planes.
