Great job on the puzzle. I have to admit, I'm not good at puzzles for some reason. May be a patience thing. Abby loves them, though, and I much prefer her to work on puzzles.
I understand about not meeting up last weekend. We look forward to the next one. I'm hoping Opry Mills opens up by Christmas. Anytime your girls (big and small) are in town and you have some free time, maybe we can sneak a quick meet in. Best of luck with the beginning of the school year. Your kids are lucky to be getting your as a teacher. Abby starts a week from Monday, as does Ellie going to daycare. My heart is aching about it, but I know she will be in good hands.
I have always enjoyed puzzles, unless they are those really instense ones with like 5000 pieces of sky and water. I like ones with detail that may have just a little of the challenging parts.
And, of course, I like Disney ones.
I sure hope Opry Mills is able to open by holiday season. They will have a booming business, as people will be so excited to have a mall back. I wish they would put a
Disney Store back in there.
The girls will do well in school and daycare, but I get your pain. When I had to go back to school and work, I would fight back tears when I left Drew looking at me out of the front door of the babysitter's house. Luckily, that part didn't last too long. It was better when he was able to go to the church daycare.
That is so true! That would really be something special to frame, something you did together.
Yeah, I have a feeling when I put puzzles together with the girls, I will be much more apt to frame them....and then buy another one.
Hope your enjoying your last day of summer vacation Memom

the puzzle soo pretty !
Can't wait for more of the alphabet game , your stumping me already lol
I hope I will remember them all myself!

So far, I know all those.
The first half of the school year is not too bad, because we have a long weekend in September for Labor Day, an October fall break, and two holiday breaks. It's January and February and the first of March that are tiring. That's why I really, really love my spring break trips.
I thought I had at least one of two I am thinking of, but maybe not.
I will have to look through all the pictures to see if I can find one.
Enjoy your last few days before school starts!
I am, thank you, and I really don't have any complaints about the summer feeling short. As much as I needed the money from summer school, it really did help the summer seem long since I had all of June free. Most of me hopes they are able to fund it again next year, but part of me liked having that time.
I love the alphabet game!!! It's a nice diversion for me right now!
You can see pictures at school - you lucky duck!
You should most definately check out the outlets - they have awesome deals!! A lot of times I see things in the outlet that are still being sold in the parks. I got a couple of cute Jim Shore pieces for about half the price they are at Disney!
I like to buy cloths that remind me of places I've seen. It does seem kindof like cheating if you buy them at an outlet store when you've never been We went on a cruise many years ago (20+) and I think it was Carnival, not sure. Anyway, there were Disney characters on the ship and they would come around while you were eating (this was before Disney had their own ships). They also took us to a private island off Nassau. I've always wondered if it was the island that eventually became
Castaway Cay. That would be neat! The only thing I remember about it is that they told us it was where Gilligan's Island was filmed.
I still have a picture somewhere of me with Pluto, on the ship
Sorry to ramble....
That's neat that you saw the Gilligan's Island island.
I figure we'll end up on a cruise one of these days, but it will be the shortest one they have, just to see if I can handle it. It does look like they have some awesome kids' activities.
Fun game! I'm playing along !!
Very good. Some will be super easy, and some will be a bit more challenging.
I am enjoying the alphabet game. Do you have a picture of a L that might go with a picture of a C place.
No, I know exactly which two places I thought I had pictures of, but I could be wrong. At various points during the trip, I would take a bunch of ABC shots in a short time, and at other times, I forgot all about it.
The completed Disney puzzle looks great. I haven't worked on a puzzle in a while.
I like the alphabet game! Can't wait for more!
Some of the more shocking moments I have had as a teacher have been watching kids do puzzles. Some of them have rarely/never worked one, so they don't even have the concept of matching colors to areas. I've seen kids try to fit a blue piece into a green area or something like that. My kids grew up doing puzzles, so I never thought about a kids not even understanding the basic skills to doing them. I have a few simple ones in my room - animals, transportation, the world, the U.S. come to mind.
Glad you are enjoying the Disney alphabet.
Or at the ocean
Wanted to share this video with you guys too. Memom this is just slightly different from the one you saw yesterday....he just makes some of the cutest noises!!
I hope you have a wonderful day too!!
SO EXCITING!!
Your little Will was one I had in mind when talking about our DIS babies. I knew he was having a big time on your trip. I knew he would change your world forever and you would have so much fun with him. You can't really describe it to people - they just have to live it and go through all those small moments on their own to reall comprehend the depth of the love. That little sandy foot and those sweet coos are perfect examples.
I love your disney puzzle. I work on puzzles all the time.
I hope you are enjoying your last days before school starts back. I am loving the alphabet game.
Do you do hard ones? We once did a 3D one of some dolphins underwater. That took a while!
I am making the most of my time - getting some chores done as I am in the mood and chilling while I can.
Love that little sandy baby foot! So cute!!
Great alphabet game MeMom!!
It is so sweet.
We'll see if we can find that L!!!!
I'd be more than happy to get you your letter "L" next weekend!
From the
Lego Store..... Lion King.....Lady and the Tramp
I would pick you up something from the outlet store but I'm not sure what you are looking for. Was it the towel?
I will take any pic requests from my DIS friends too.
Yes, I will take your prayers for time to go by slowly!
Thanks
nowellsl for the outlet heads up.
I have wanted to stop at St.Augustine ever since you mentioned it previously.
I am very curious to see what they have. My shopping bag will be ready!
This will be a new for us, we are so excitted.
Awwww,
Vandyfan he is super cute!
What a sweet pic of his little foot.
What did he think of the beach?
Thanks for the well wishes.
If you think of it, you might get a couple of L pictures for us. I thought I had at least one, and maybe two, but maybe not.
The excitement is building at your house - yes???
Oooh yay! The alphabet game!
It's only appropriate to start the school year with a Disney alphabet, don't you think?
