Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I have had a productive day. I weeded out some things from some of my school tubs, and Drew helped me clean out some things in the laundry room. Trent called this morning, and he is very excited about being back with all of us in a couple of weeks.

Jill is on her way here with the girls, but she just called and said she had to make an emergency potty stop for Brooklynn. She said Brooklynn had been singing, "Potty, potty, potty. I have got to potty!" for several miles. I'm pretty sure most of you can picture this and have heard a similar song before. :) Poor Bella was awakened from her slumber during the ordeal. :lovestruc

Anyway, it has been a good day - rather ordinary, but good. I have a good family and a roof over my head and more than one kind of ice cream in the freezer, so I live a good life. We'll probably take some pictures to share with you this weekend.

In DIS family news:

Congratulations to Heather on the arrival of Hannah!

If you haven't signed up for your place in DIStown, you better get moving. If you know what I am talking about, you have probably already claimed your spot. :rotfl: I think we should elect Shocker as mayor while he's not around. :thumbsup2

Hi, MeMom! Are you planning on sharing some of your birthday cake with us? I could use some sprinkles and frosting right about now. :rotfl:

I did not have a cake. Maybe I'll have Brooklynn make one tomorrow, and I am sure she will be happy to cover it with sprinkles. :goodvibes

I'm glad you have a good day and boy would I love to share some ice cream with you right now LOL!!! Sounds like a great way to end the day!!

Oh and I second the motion that we elect Shocker as Mayor!!! :rotfl:

Oh no! Yes, I have heard that chant on road trips before and sometimes it is coming not from my kids but from my husband. :lmao:

Family, home, and multiple varieties of ice cream: yep, you are living the good life. :rotfl: Since tomorrow is grocery shopping day, we only have two of those three things right now. I am feeling the distinct lack of ice cream in my life right now.

Shocker would make an excellent mayor! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great way to spend some of your Saturday! Edible art is always the best! ;)

Maybe you can make an AL or TN DIS meet sometime, then. :thumbsup2

For me, I don't spend money on anything at home, so my fun is Disney World. I rarely buy new clothes, I don't smoke, drink, or eat out, don't go to movies or shows, don't buy jewelry or things for the house. My extra money is my Disney money. We stay value most of the time, and I eat a lot of peanut butter sandwiches. I'll let Jill add any tips that she wants to.

DIS Meet sounds like fun.

Sounds like we do alot of the same things to save for Disney. And it's some of the same stuff I told my bil when he asked how we can do it. I told him we don't drink, don't smoke, don't do movies or other things. If we could just quit eating out so much, then maybe we could afford two trips a year. Really need to work on that. :) I'm glad to meet others like us who are so in love with Disney that they would not do other things in order to afford it. Looking forward to any other tips though.

Nope, that's Dadeland. Have you been to the the one at the Falls since they moved? I liked it better when they were at the other location - it was more Disney-ish. Now it's too white and bare.

Are you in the Falls area?

I was pretty close that guess. lol . Last time I was at the Falls it was on the west end of the mall?? seemed very white and bare like you said. Have not been to dadeland for 20 yrs or so. I live up in N, Miami. I really dont get down there that much. We have a disney store up here in Aventura that was just refurbished and moved as well. We are pretty lucky to have 3 (6 if you count Bayside and both the park outlets)) so close.

Mint chocolate chip, strawberry, or vanilla? :)

Jill said she had to get to an exit that seemed family-friendly, so it took a few minutes. She found a Cracker Barrel and felt good about stopping there.

I know I have a cake mix and frosting, but I just cleaned out my baking cabinet right before camp. I hope I saved some sprinkles. If not, I'm pretty sure there are some m&m's she could use for decorations. :)

Shocker gets my vote as mayor.

He seems like the obvious choice. :thumbsup2

I think we would have some scary looking billboards on the road if he won.:lmao:

This is true. Perhaps we should have a board of aldermen that can keep him in check. ;)

Have you checked out the Budget Board? There are a lot of people with good advice there.

Six??? :scared1:
Now you're really torturing us!

I am loving our DIStown...
Surprisingly enough, Shocker wanted to drive the trash truck.
Maybe he can have two jobs.

Since your birthday is almost over, I hope it was a good one! Certainly sounds productive.

I claimed a spot in DisTown for my husband but forgot me! I chose gardener. :upsidedow

Oh I missed out too! BUT happy Bday anyhow, I am sure it was special!!!

I have never been inside the Diamond Horseshoe! Thank you for those pics! Great stroll around Frontierland and your castle show pics waiting for the parade! I love the cappuccino floats and the rootbeer floats!!! and the Dole Whip Floats...and... :rotfl:

I think he could do both jobs. After all a politician and a trash truck operator are pretty close. They both shovel alot of garbage!

The girls are getting so big! :goodvibes

I'm all caught up on this trip report. I haven't been around on the DIS in awhile, but I'm back and ready to dive into some Disney magic!

What are yall's October dates?
