Flashback from the surgery maybe. Stickers = tape for the IV or something??
So lucky to have someone tall enough to "look " over the wall. All I got was this
and then I had some guy yell over to me " Ma'am you see nothing over that wall, nothing at all" (
yes he called me Ma'am
Clearly there were things over the wall. I see two tents and the beginnings of a building.
Well, thank you to whomever the intrepid reporter in the group is who got the shot "over the wall." Can't wait to see the new Fantasyland!
Looks like a fun DIS meet. But aren't they all. DISers are just the nicest bunch.
Bella is so cute sitting on the counter with her candy. Such a little peanut. As far as her weight I'm going to guess she came through just a trace over the 20 lb requirement. I know she's a happy baby but hoping she's a forward-facing one too!!
So far, we have met only nice Disers. I guess the day might come when we meet someone it's harder to talk with, but so far, we have met down-to-earth fun, happy people.
And so far, no one has made terrible fun of our accents to our faces.
I'm gonna vote that she was either one pound under.. or right at 20.
She should have eaten some rocks for breakfast!!!
Yum candy treats! The candy store is my youngest favorite store. What a great place for a meet.
Bella is so tiny I hope she passed the 20lb mark and can sit forward.
We were in the front section of the Emporium, which was filled with sugary goodness. I think the kids were trying to choose big suckers, and the parents were telling them they were going to need to choose small suckers!
Another fun DIS meet!!!
Do you know I didn't see any Summer Nightastic buttons??? No, Main Street Electrical Parade CDs either.
Great shot of the Fantasyland construction!!! Can't wait for it to be finished! I wonder how dirty Dumbo's tents will get being surrounded by all that dirt???
Maybe they were sold out. At first, I thought they were the free ones, and I was going to send you some, but then I saw the price tag. I didn't buy any at all.
I looked at CD's. I saw the same music as usual, except for I think there was one holiday one I am not sure we have. I was going to check, and we can get it in October if we want to.
Someone in our group might get an updated picture of what's going on behind the wall in October.
Another fun update. Yay for Dis Meets! Cool behind the scenes pics. Wish i had read your note about the
Disney Store earlier. Was just there today. DId score some 1.99 flip flops for the girls and some long sleeved pjs-we are heading to Oregon on Wed where the high was 60 degrees today. Um, brrrrrr
Two dollar flip flops - excellent!
Have fun in Oregon! 60 will feel wonderful when it makes it's way to Tennessee in a few months. 94 has worn out its welcome.
A wonderful behind the wall picture. I can't wait until it is finished and opened.
The Dis meet pictures were great.
Looks like they are making progress.
They were so nice. The nephews probably thought we were crazy, although Cara said they really didn't realize that they had met up with strangers after it was all said and done. I guess that's a good thing.
Yay for another Dis meet, it looked fun!
Ohh great pic of the new Fanasyland! I think those two tents are where Dumbo is going to be but I don't remember.
I saw Jill's post on FB about Bella's weight so I'm not gonna guess
I would assume that, as well, but it does seem odd that those would be some of the first structures up. I would think they would be some of the last. It'll be fun to watch the progress.
YAY.... a covert photo op! Woot! So strange seeing that open space, and yes, how exciting to imagine what it will be like! I can't wait. How fun to have so many DIS meets!!!
We also had some Disers staying on the floor below us at the corner - the Martinolich family. We saw their window decorations, but didn't see/know them.
As I posted on my facebook earlier tonight. As we drove to dinner Bella watched where we had been and not where we were going. She weighed just 18 pounds and 11 ounces and that was with her diaper on. So still quite a ways away from forward facing since she has only gained about a pound and a half in the past 4 months. Eventually she will get to see where she is going instead of where she's been.
Get my baby a fan!
Kudoes to you Jill for keeping her rear facing. Many would have turned her around by now. It really is so much safer for them. That and a 5 point harness. Avery my 6 yr old just got to move to a booster, took her this long to get to 40lb
Maybe in about three more months, she'll be ready to greet the world head on, instead of waving goodbye to it as it passes behind her.

Can you imagine her face the first time she gets to sit forward. She will really wonder what is happening!
Obviously that's not true...there's that big pile of dirt and the big yellow caterpillar thingy on top of the dirt!
Yep, and those cute little tents and some block walls.
Fortunately, no CM informed us about the nothingness behind the walls.
Some more great photos and updates.
Thanks for the Park Fare pics, we r eating there in October and I am looking forward to it as it is new.
Too much to comment on but enjoyed it all.
We always like to try new places for ourselves. Experiences are different for everyone, as are tastes.
Glad you got a chance to peek in. We haven't been on a lot during July.
Love the haircut pictures! I hardly ever see pictures of Bella crying. I can't believe how much she looks like her sister in those pictures.
I will look for the Rafiki for you. I have a 20% off coupon to use so that will help with costs.
Amy is very light for her age, too. She will be 12 next month and only weighs 60 pounds!
No one ever says the girls look alike. That's a new one.
I'm going to look at the bookstore today and see if I can find a big Lion King book. Even if I find a cutout, I think I still want a plush doll.
tinkgurl is going to look while she is in WDW, too.
Your girls are both lucky to be thin.
I love the haircut pictures! They bring back sweet memories of Henry's first haircut there. We just might have to try the pixie dusting sometime-I think he'd like the spike with the goo and pixie dust! I bet Brooklynn got a ton of attention with all that! Sorry to hear the cut was uneven though...have they done a good job in the past?
Great DIS meet pictures! And thank you (to whomever!) for standing on the bench and snagging a Fantasyland pic. It sure will be fun to watch it slowly develop over time. If I'm brave enough I'll snag one in September!
Just tell them to go easy on the goo. Brooklynn's was so thick last time. She would put her hand up there to feel it and get a hand full of goo, so we were walking around with baby wipes at the ready for a while until she forgot about it. It took a few washings to get it out. Maybe light goo would be okay - just enough to keep the sprinkles in a little.
It's really not hard to get the over-the-wall picture. You just hobble...I mean, uh, walk, yeah, that's it...
walk over to the wall that sort of juts inward, stand on the bench, have your family cause a big scene over in another direction to draw the attention away from you, put your camera high over the wall, and snap!
Okay, the family didn't really cause a ruckus. They just stood there laughing at the person who was standing on the bench.
If they didn't want people to see over it, they wouldn't have put the bench there, right?
And you can see it from Dumbo, too, although I didn't ride Dumbo this time. I probably will in October.
