I saw that set on eBay too! Excellent purchase you bargain hunter you!
I gave up the big bulletin board when I moved spaces so all I have to do now is an all about me where I will have my class star and my calendar. Hmmmm, my Disney fun will have to be sprinkled elsewhere...

Yay for the Dismeet!! My nephews didn't have a clue what was going on.:lmao: Cooper and Brooklyn are so cute with their lollipops. It was so funny that my nephews would hardly speak on the trip. We called them the Darling boys from Andy Griffith at the start of the trip:rotfl: They eventually opened up and then I could not shut my youngest nephew up. He loved to make fun of my love for Disney, but secretly I know he had a blast too.;)

Hey MeMom!
I'm leaving for Disney tomorrow :woohoo: so I can't wait to catch up with you TR when I get back! :goodvibes

As I posted on my facebook earlier tonight. As we drove to dinner Bella watched where we had been and not where we were going. She weighed just 18 pounds and 11 ounces and that was with her diaper on. So still quite a ways away from forward facing since she has only gained about a pound and a half in the past 4 months. Eventually she will get to see where she is going instead of where she's been.

I know how you feel. Both of my boys were on the small side. DS8 has started to gain weight. DS7 is still small, only weighs 42 pounds with clothes on. He is so small but his doctor said he is just fine.

MeMom, Sorry I wasn't even thinking. I went to the Disney store in Memphis yesterday after Sarah took her boards. They had lots of flip flops and sunglasses for the kids for 1.99. I almost bought me a t-shirt but backed out.
I'm not sure I saw what you where looking for, but I just read you got something already. I did see those soft dolls that are in your report. I really was only in there for a few minutes. I wasn't feeling so hot and had to get some more shopping done. I got some cloths for our trip I didn't have anything to wear. I have dropped 3 sizes since I started losing weight. Got some pretty good deals since all the summer stuff is being marked down.

Jill, Ty weighs 24 pounds and has weighed about that since he was about 6 or 7 months old. He was really a chubby baby and when he started walking he hasn't been still since so he hasn't really gained anymore. He just gets taller. And unlike Bella he is not a big eater. It would mean he would have to stop long enough to eat and he doesn't have time for that.

Oh yeah Disney on Ice is coming to Memphis Sep. 24.-26. I'm thinking about taking Ty. It's just a week before we leave for Disney so I thought it might help him get some sort of idea about what the characters are about.

Great update :thumbsup2

Looks like a wonderful dismeet with great pictures !

$5.00 for a button that is just nuts :scared1:

Love the behind the wall picture , will have to try and get one of those on our trip in September to show what has changed !

To say they didn't do a good job on Brooklynn's hair is an understatement. Later when she woke up from her nap and the ponytail had come out there were like 18 different levels of cut. I swear it looked like she had done it herself. I really wish I would have taken a picture of it but I was in such shock and trying to get back to MK so they could fix it that I didn't take the time.

Oh my goodness, Jill! It's totally an understatement with Nerea's hair, too! You can even tell in the picture how she has bangs over her left eyebrow and then they are about 1/2 an inch above her right brow. Good for you going back and having them fix it - I should have done that, too, but I think being in shock affected me differently, I just kind of kept looking at it...wondering if I was really seeing what I was seeing - it looked like Miren had cut it for her!

Another fun DIS meet!!! :thumbsup2

Do you know I didn't see any Summer Nightastic buttons??? No, Main Street Electrical Parade CDs either. :(

Great shot of the Fantasyland construction!!! Can't wait for it to be finished! I wonder how dirty Dumbo's tents will get being surrounded by all that dirt???

Jackie, I was wondering if you had found a MSEP cd - I think I had read on your PTR that you'd be looking for one. I looked, too, but didn't find one either. :(

Thanks, MeMom, for the tips on how to get a good picture of the construction. :rotfl: I know exactly what bench you're talking about. ;) Of course, you're right about Dumbo, too. We got a perfect view of of it all from there. I'm not sure if I got a good picture, though, because I was videoing and taking pics at the same time. But I suspect once things really start going back there, they'll find a way to cover it up; keep us all in suspense until the big reveal! :wizard:

Just tell them to go easy on the goo. Brooklynn's was so thick last time. She would put her hand up there to feel it and get a hand full of goo, so we were walking around with baby wipes at the ready for a while until she forgot about it. It took a few washings to get it out. Maybe light goo would be okay - just enough to keep the sprinkles in a little.

It's really not hard to get the over-the-wall picture. You just hobble...I mean, uh, walk, yeah, that's it...walk over to the wall that sort of juts inward, stand on the bench, have your family cause a big scene over in another direction to draw the attention away from you, put your camera high over the wall, and snap!

Okay, the family didn't really cause a ruckus. They just stood there laughing at the person who was standing on the bench.

If they didn't want people to see over it, they wouldn't have put the bench there, right? ;)

And you can see it from Dumbo, too, although I didn't ride Dumbo this time. I probably will in October.

Good advice about the goo! I remember that now that you mentioned it...I'm certain Henry's hand will be in his hair 78272 times if it's sticky!

Thank you as well for the advice on the Fantasyland pics. ;) I'm certain my family will not cause a ruckus either, but instead laugh at the person on the bench. Well, one will laugh and one will ask, "Why on bench Mommy?" :goodvibes

We will be riding Dumbo, so I'll attempt to get a shot there too. Henry asks me everyday about Mickey's House and today he told me he wanted to ride the flying elephant that goes up and down. I couldn't believe he remembered it! He even had the sound affects of the air releasing...! :rotfl:

The one with the Lion King lunch bag? That's it. :thumbsup2

The Darling boys - too funny! :rotfl:

Our guys make fun of us, too, but they would be disappointed if we didn't do our Disney stuff.

Have a blast! I would love to go and get a few last days in before school starts.

She's small, but healthy as can be. Trent was small, but always ran circles around kids bigger and older than him on the playground.

I'll have to sit out this Disney on Ice, since we're making the October trip. I don't know if Jill plans to take the girls with friends again, maybe.

We will look forward to seeing the progress. Just don't get caught by the 'nothing' CM!

Jill said she was in shock, too!

I will have to ride Dumbo in October and get a longer, better view. :cool2:

We love Mickey's house! :cool1: Henry will be like Brooklynn soon. He'll know all the rides in all the parks. :thumbsup2

The goo was a mess. This time, it was better, except the sparkles fell out. It just needs a little touch.

I  the Emporium.
Can't wait for Fantasyland to be completed.

I took a lot of pictures in the Emporium throughout the trip.

Someday Brooklynn and I will have to have a Little Mermaid meet. :rotfl2:

Did you hear a rumor, which supposedly Imagineers are saying is false, that The Little Mermaid ride is being scratched? Did you see Pete Werner's FB article? I just glanced at it, but I need to go back and ready it fully. I hope it's not true. I imagine it to be much like Nemo, so not a thrill ride, but I know it would be a hit with our girls.

I'm not surprised by Bella's not making the 20lbs. When I was trying to rescue her from the evil stroller. She didn't seem heavy at all...

Where did you hear this??? I thought I heard someone talking about it in walmart but Iwasn't sure

Great pictures from the haircuts at the barbershop! I saw them on FB, but they were just as cute the second time around! :thumbsup2

AND---what a rebel you are (or someone in your group)---taking pictures over the fence to see some backstage Disney! I love it!

Someone in our group might get an updated picture of what's going on behind the wall in October. :upsidedow
I would assume that, as well, but it does seem odd that those would be some of the first structures up. I would think they would be some of the last. It'll be fun to watch the progress.

Yep, and those cute little tents and some block walls. ::yes::

Fortunately, no CM informed us about the nothingness behind the walls.

No Cm telling me about nothing, just a gentleman who knew what I was doing. I can only imagine what he would have said if he caught me climbing on a bench.;) :rotfl2:

Dumbo may need a ride in Sept and Oct. :) Now if I can get a clear picture....

Someday Brooklynn and I will have to have a Little Mermaid meet. :rotfl2:

Count me in for that one too!!!! I like Dory but I also like Ariel.

Say what!?! They better not scratch The Little Mermaid ride. I will have to search that out when I get home from school. :thumbsup2

We walked back through Fantasyland. One member of our group decided to stand up on a bench and hold the camera up high over the fence to see what was happening on the other side.

One day, we will all walk around back there in the new Fantasyland! :dance3:

oh, how scandalous!!!! so was it memom who had the nerve to do this or someone else?

It was totally MeMom. She just limps along so that CMs are thrown off. They see her and say "Look at that poor grandmother who is limping along as her family walks in slow motion. She thinks she is going so fast. She would never climb on top of a bench and take a picture over a ten foot wall."

Hey Memom! I am playing catch up. We where in NC for the weekend and did not get online much. Can't wait to read the updates. Hope you are having a great week.
