We have PS at Chef Mickey's our first night at WDW. I need to know the best way to get from Pop Century to the Contemporary and how much time should I allow for it. We are relying on the Disney Transportation service - no rental car.
I am guessing that I take a bus to the TTC and switch to the monorail. If any of you Disney experts can help, I'd appreciate it!
I haven't been in nearly 18 years so I'm a bit rusty!
Thanks:D

but you're close:)

There isn't bus service from POP to the TTC...

But!
What will happen is that you will take the bus to the MK...from the bus drop off, you can stroll to the Contemporary..(5 minutes, maybe??)...or you can take the monorail resort loop.

Have fun!!

Thanks for the info! I will definitely need to read up on the transportation system once I'm there! I knew I could figure it out once I arrived (this Sunday) but I am a person who likes to know ahead of time.
Thanks again!

Hi, I thought I'd tag along on this post. How about Pop to Poly? I can do what you suggested above and take a bus from Pop to MK, then monorail or boat over to Poly, right?

Someone mentioned a good way to transport from Pop to Poly is to bus over to the nearest "park" to Pop, (DTD, MGM, or Blizzard Beach?), then take a bus to Poly. Not sure if this was meant to avoid the crowded buses from Pop to MK, or what.

Any thoughts on which is the better idea? This move would occur on a Sunday morning Thanksgiving weekend (yikes).

Thanks,
Tink

bell services will move it for you.

I imagine that Sunday is EE day for the MK, so yep, the bus probably will be fairly crowded and Thanksgiving to boot:earseek:

It would , JMHO, still be quicker to do the MK route, rather than another park. You have to wait for the bus to x, then wait for another bus to the MK, then transport again to the Polynesian..

The boat/monorail to the Polynesian would be ...well, just more enjoyable:)

Thanks for the reply, mbb. I think you're right - taking the one bus and then the monorail/boat to Poly to be a lot easier on us.
