From Poly (after Wishes) back to CBR?

Our first night plans are to eat at Kona Cafe at 7:40 p.m. and then wander out to the beach to see Wishes fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

Sounds like a nice way to start our WDW vacation ..... however I swear I woke up at 5:00 a.m. and thought omg how are we going to get back to CBR without spending all night to get back?

So, we could go to MK via monorail and arrive only to find everyone else at MK heading for the buses back to the resorts, which sounds like it would take a while. Or we could just take a cab from Poly back to CBR.

Are there other options? Going to another park and catching the bus back to CBR?

You could walk to the monorail at the TTC, monorail to Epcot and catch the CBR bus there.

If you get through dinner not too late you can beat the Wishes crowds back to the Magic Kingdom bus station.

If you head to the resort beach after dinner to see Wishes, then you are not just making a resort to resort trip that always requires a connection; rather you have now become part of the Wishes exiting crowd.

Want to head back inside and spend an hour at the bar so as to miss the Wishes crowds?

Another option is to take the Poly bus to DTD and then get on the bus to CBR there.

I agree about using a taxi because it will be the fastest option when returning to Caribbean Beach.

Last week we saw wishes from a specialty cruise that left from the Poly. Wew took the resort monorail back to MK and walked in the gate in time to see the 11 SpectroMagic. After that we took the bus back to the hotel.
