They always have had them in summer, however perhaps they have previously been underused so are promoting them! I will certainly be using them x

We have done a water park for the last three trips and the Photopass people have been there every time. They always take your picture as you finish one of the Crushin' Gusher rides.

Yes I know its not new, they are either making sure folks know that photographers are there, or may be more opportunities?? Just wanted to share because there have been a number of questions on the boards about photopass/memory maker and water parks .

There weren't many the year we went but there definitely were some. I think I only saw one that wasn't at a specific ride or character.

I guess they're just promoting them. They were there in early June last year when my sister and I went. Some at the end of the slides to get the (mostly terrible lol) crashing at the end of the slides, another who was doing magic shots with Olaf in them and I saw another walking around the lazy river. All at Typhoon Lagoon.

We had to ride the family raft ride at TL three times in a row cuz the PP guy kept turning away right as we'd splash down. After #2 DH said "dude, I'm only standing in this line one more time!!" Lol. Unfortunately my son still had his back turned but 3 out of 4 of us ain't bad

There were three we counted in both WP's last summer. I had MM and felt kind of let down about it. I hate to sound negative but does this mean no photographers after Labor Day?

I wouldn't be surprised. We were there in April one year (for a record 97 degree day--lucky us), our first WP visit, and there were none. We've also never seen any before mid-day, so depending on which rides you start with, you may miss them.

I'm glad they will be there since this will be our first trip with Memory Maker and our first visit to a water park!

Places to look are at the entrance, in the Wave pool, in the lazy river, at the bottom of family raft rides. You will also find one with Goofy if you locate the spot. There's one at the bottom of the plummet. I went down that frightening mess just to get the picture and it never showed up.
