From Oil Wells to Jingle Bells-Bells,pg.66, See you in September!

You know me, far be it for me to start any trouble, especially at home but I want you all to go back and look at the 3 pictures I posted of Smidgy in the last chapter. Ok?
Now, do you all see a common denominator in them?

Yes!, that is correct, once again, in two out of three photos she is either holding a drink or has one in front of her. And they say I'm the one with a problem, harrumph! just sayin

My parents took my family twice to WDW in 77 and then in 85. Both times we stayed at the Contemporary. I'd love to be able to take my family there one day. Doesn't look to promising.

I remember sitting in our room watchng the water pagent, and some kind of evening kids club for young ones and teens. Don't remember the pool and epcot was still under construction the second time we went. The dates are guesstaments.

I have to run, but have more comments......

Ah you can make it back someday. Our goal is to eventually stay in all the resorts, but I have to admit, SSR and OKW are way down on my "want" list.

I swear it all depends on who is working on any particular trip/day. We had nachos twice on one trip and once they were great and the second time they were like you described:confused3

I agree, one time it was a whole meal, the other time not even a snack.

Works like a charm!

Stayed in 1976 and 1981, in the "wing" which they knocked down to build BLT. Loved it. Although in 1976 you could still swim in the lake too.

Heck, we swam in the lake in '92, over at River Country. Funny thing is, it's still there, they haven't really touched it.

:thumbsup2

Wow. For once I don't really know what to say.
I really appreciated all of your concerns and comments, now I'm embarrassed and feel silly, never was good at handling sympathy.

I would like to say though, at first I was just going to come out and say the result of what happened, then after thinking about it, I thought I'd try to make the best of a crappy situation and tell my story, see if I can at least get a few laughs out of it.
I hope I succeeded.

In a way, it was therapy, for me.
Thanks again all, I'm not gonna click on all the posters, just if I can add something, ok?

YOU POOR THING! That sounds pretty much like one of my worst nightmares (in fact, I skimmed over parts of it so I won't have nightmares tonight!). I know things like that are in my future (and in fact, I had trouble seeing out of my left eye for most of the day -- here's hoping it just a severe allergy issue and the meds resolve it). I hope that awfulness you went through does the trick and that your eye heals/improves quickly.

Miss Lake, Please, do NOT put off having your eyes examined, DON"T MESS WITH THE RETINAS.

Oh, Nebo, that sounds awful. You deserve a trip to Disney World after that! I hope 2 weeks from now, you're telling us it was worth it.

Me too, but what was that part about deserving a trip? Heck, I feel I deserve a trip if I make it a whole week without tripping over a cat!

Nebo, yikes, how scary is that!:scared1: I sure hope it works for you, it sucks not to be able to see. I had cataracts, so I know a little bit what it must be like, not like you though.

That sucks to pay out of your vacation fund, hate it when that happens (along with car repairs).

AHHAHAHAHA, you too funny. "Vacation Fund!" Yeah, it's called the Visa Card.

You told your story in your true entertaining fashion though, so many props to you, I hope it all works out well. New procedures are good right? And you can still type, so they haven't completely blinded you, so its all good :thumbsup2

Yes, I can still type, but it's a real PITA. You know what that stands for, right? Pain in the A....

:scared1: that was one heck of a post. Those shots are no fun. hopefully it will work and in two weeks you will be your old self. Ok maybe not "old" self but.... and i think that you have both earned a trip after you get your taxes done after going through this ordeal. and at least you will have a cool trendy pair of sunglasses right? (do they still give those things to you when you leave?:cool2:
seriously take care of yourselves ,
Betsey

What was that part about earning a trip after this ordeal again?
And no, they don't give you the "Terminator" glasses anymore, now they are a solid piece of thin plastic that you have to "unroll" to use. They're actually kinda handy, I've used them I Disney before, at least you don't worry about breaking them.

Oh Nebo, I was flinching through the whole story. I completely understand how you feel about them doing stuff to your eyes. I am blind as a bat without my contacts and would love to have Lasix surgery but, I am absolutely terrified of the procedure. I can barely handle the puff of air they use when doing the glaucoma test, it takes the doc 4 or 5 tries because I keep pulling my face away at the last second.

I hope the injection worked, please keep us posted.

Hi MBM, one thing I think you should know;
Good eye doctors don't use the "air puff" glaucoma tests anymore, they use the hand held device and it's a whole bunch easier on the patient. Heck, I was just like you with that blast of air in my eye. I always felt like it was wrong, anybody knows you don't blow in a dogs face unless you are tired of the lips you have.

:scared1::scared1: I HATE to have my eyes dialated!!! YUCK!! That just made me feel so  and:sad2: I really hope in 2 weeks you will be :yay: or  All I can say is :worship: and

:lmao:Great use of the smileys Mary, thanks. I once tried to do a chapter in all smileys and after two hours I had one whole paragraph. I gavve up.

Oh man! I really, really hope you'll be okay. I've been having fun commenting on your posts and trying to be half as entertaining as you have been... but I just can't this time. It just wouldn't be right. I really do feel terrible on your behalf and hope that it will all be okay. Don't know if you care or not but I'll be thinking of you for the next little bit. 'kay?

Hey, nothing has changed here, your one of my favorite contributors so don't hold back. but thank you.

I cringed at your last post. I had Lasik surgery 5 years ago, twice on the left eye for an enhancement. It was worth it but gives me the creeps when I think about what they did. I could not imagine having a shot in my eye. Hope the procedure works and you don't have anymore problems with your eyes.

Hey, maybe now those signposts out in front of Nebo Elementary School will look straight to me.
I know a few people that have had Lasix and they are all glad they did. Not an option for me, though.

 Okay all caught up!!! I am very slow in getting my trip report going, so I am not up to our meet and unfortunately I forgot to ask you and Smidgy to pose for me. I thought of this when we got back to the room.

You should have, I'm sure it would have been one more pic of Smidgy holding a drink.:rotfl2:

We had a wonderful time as well! Jeff and my oldest, Marisa, were picking on me a little bit that only I would find another person I knew in WDW...oh but this time it was someone I met online. But Jeff did enjoy chatting and drinking with you and Smidgy!!!

By the way - I don't blame you about the needle in the eye. However, as I mentioned I work at a hospital. If you ever have to do it again think of one of these two circumstances that I was able to witness first hand. #1 a man who decided the government had shoved secret documents up his BLANKITY BLANK so he needed to cut it off with a kitchen knife or the poor man who needed to be scoped immediately down the throat while completely awake (awful sound of torture).....maybe that could help you out during the next shot! "It could be worse..."

Um yes, thank you for that perspective.

By the way you and Smidgy would be shocked as to how much we spent on alcohol this trip!!! We may start BYOB!

Jeff will be thrilled there is another topless shot of him on this board!!!

I have no doubt you spent a lot on booze there, there's a reason we do things the way we do. And I'm glad I could make Jeff happy with the picture, I was THIS close to posting an older one of myself so he wouldn't be alone in this chapter but I thought that might be catty.

With that I am caught up. Thanks again all of you and the ones I didn't quote, Marie, SandyMouse, others, back soon.

What? Razors? You're talking about razors?[/COLOR]

Of course, what else :confused3 You never know when you're gonna need to shave something, so it's better to be safe than have to trade your right arm for one in a Disney gift shop!

but it's a real PITA.

:lmao:Ha, ha ha! My parents called my sister and me PITA when we were little. It took me forever to figure out what it meant. Thanks for the childhood memory. My kids didn't get enough sleep last night, hmm, I wonder what my response will be to their next whiny complaint...:rolleyes1

Wow Nebo! You are my hero. I can't even stand the puffs and drops when you go to the dr. I once had contacts when I was a teen... for all of 1 year till I decided I just can't stand anything that I have to touch my eye with! :lmao: Have thought about get them a few times since but I get that "nails on the chalkboard" feeling just thinking about putting them in again. I know I sound crazy but I think I would have gotten up off the chair and headed out to buy myself a pirate patch! :lmao:

Miss Lake, Please, do NOT put off having your eyes examined, DON"T MESS WITH THE RETINAS.

So true Nebo. My Dad only has sight in one eye because his detached when he was a kid (he's not even sure when because he can't really remember having sight in that eye and he was always doing something crazy as a youngster). Back then (you know, the stone age), they didn't go to the doctor. And knowing my Dad he probably didn't mention that he was having a problem. Sound like someone you know??? :rolleyes1

Sorry you had to go through all this and I certainly hope that the treatment works...THIS time, so you don't have to go through it again. I don't think I'd want to go through it, that's for sure. My husband had LASIK a couple of years ago and he told me excitedly, you can watch what they're doing on a TV right outside the office! Ya, thanks , but no thanks!!

HE'S GOING TO STICK A NEEDLE IN MY EYE!"

Dude, I know exactly how you feel. Remember our last trip when I got sick and wound up in the ER at Celebration Hospital? I was diagnosed with Iritis [sic]. That dialation, I Had it for 2 months straight!!!! THEN they stuck a need le in my eye. Was out of work 3 months! Dialation was awful, had to wear a hat and sunglasses in the house. It was so bad that opening the fridge was bad. FOr about 3 weeks I could sit in my kitchen (the darkest room in our house) and listen to the Phillies on the radio. (I told Jim I felt like I was living in the 30's).

I so feel your pain. Do what the doctor says my friend:goodvibes

Diane - DOn't let him milk it;)

When I mentioned dilated, it's not like what you are used to form an regular eye doctor. Retina specialists use industrial strength dilation, I think I even saw "ACME" on the side of the bottle.

My eyes are entirely pupils now, a lit match is blinding to me.

After just enduring excruciating pain from the bright lights my doctor used in the exam, that was just a warm up.

Ooh, oww, ouch! I totally sympathize with you, Nebo. And I never even had the NEEDLE IN MY EYE deal, thank god. But I have had the super-mega dilation from h3ll (or actually, from a retinal specialist), followed by what I affectionately call the optical cannon. And I can attest to what you're saying.

I had PVD in my left eye. Occurred about three years ago. Started on Christmas night, of all days, and lasted 6-9 months. And like you, I ignored it at first. Figured, hey, I have an eye appointment in a couple of weeks (with an optometrist! not a retinal specialist!) so what the heck. Fortunately, my optometrist recognized what was happening, and sent me (like, yesterday) to a retinal specialist. You're right, not something to screw around with.

I wish I had your flair for storytelling. I could make a chapter similar to yours. But this is your trippy, not mine. And I don't have nearly your flair. But I can't resist telling the short version.

Christmas 2007. DW & I staying at Mom's house (she's 86 at the time). Christmas celebration is at my brother's house in Rockford, about 90 minutes away. Great Christmas celebration, yadda, yadda. We wait too long to leave, of course. It's snowing like heck when we leave. Not quite a blizzard, but close.

So I'm on I-90, driving in the dark, in near-blizzard conditions, still an hour away from the western 'burbs. I have Mom, my aunt, and my wife in the car. The car's windshield wipers have frozen over - they basically don't work at all, so I can barely see through the windshield. Now, I grew up driving in snow, so I'm making like it's no big deal. And that's when my eye decides to start its tricks. Every time I look up to my right at my rear-view mirror (which, of course, I need to do a lot, especially since the main view through the windshield is not much help), every time I look that way and then back to the front, my left eye rewards me with a bright starburst pattern. Ooh, ahh, just like Wishes. :rotfl2: Every time.

I never mention it. Why cause panic in the car? But let me tell you, that was the longest car trip I ever took!

And then, of course, I waited a couple of weeks after my return to see my optometrist, and then a retinal specialist. Don't worry -- he chewed me out pretty good. I'm lucky it didn't lead to a retinal tear.

Anyway, my sympathies. I sincerely hope you're OK. And that you don't have to do that NEEDLE ever again!

-Bob

I see a retina specialist too. I had cysts form on my eyes about 2 years ago and they burst! the most painfull experience of my life and i have had 4 c-sections. I will never rub my eyes again. On Monday I just had a follow up visit with my specialist (I swear we have some freak connection). Thanks for the reminder of how important follow up visits are.

Those cysts kept messing with my vision and I had to change my lenses twice in a 12 month period until they healed.

I think I would have bolted. I don't think I would have endured a needle to my eye, my spine a 3-4 inch needle 3 times for a spinal, my eyes, I don't think so.

I will pray for you.

Oh and they dialated my eyes on Monday with the ACME stuff too. I couldn't read anything and I had to drive home! I walked right back in cause the sun came out during my apt and I didn't have sunglasses on me, plus I had to have those pictures of my eyes taken again! At least once a year I get those pictures taken.

Boy, I must be getting pretty familiar with doing these trip reports because I'm doing this with one eye tied behind my back.

If you don't want to read this personal story and just want Disney I understand, skip ahead to the next chapter which isn't written yet.

It happened like this:

Diane was at work and I was working on bills and stuff when suddenly, the bill I was paying just faded away.

Now, I have always wanted bills to just go away, just not in this manner.
Those of you who've read my first trippy know this once happened before, at Pop Century when a giant Yo Yo disappeared on me, but that was attributed to a bad migraine with an aura.

This was different.

It was only in my left eye, but of course I thought, "Maybe my eyes are just tired."
It wasn't until I went outside and walked to the mail box that I could tell something was really wrong, this was on the day before New Years Eve.

So, I did what any idiot in this situation would do at this time;
I ignored it.
"I'll see how it is in the morning."

Next morning came and it was no better, but now it's full on Holiday period for the next 2 days, with a Sunday after that.

This was one reason I stayed home on New Years.

On Monday Smidgy talked me into doing something about it, though by then I didn't really neeed the encouragement and I called my opthalmologist. Normally you have to make an appointment over a month in advance to see him, he wants me in tomorrow!

You see, I have a history of retinal detatchments and blind spots from brokent blood vessels in the retina.

On tuesday we went and saw him, and as he was examining me, I heard him mutter, "Uh oh."

"Uh oh?"

That ranks right up there with some of the top things you don't want to hear from your doctor, like, "Whoops!," or, "Guess I'm getting that Mercedes after all."

He told me there's some new scarring in the macula, this is the most important part of the retina, the center that you use any time you focus on something.

It's also pretty much a medical emergency.

It's also out of his realm, I had to set it up ASAP with myn retinal specialist. Since by the time we got home it was night, Diane called for me first thing in the morning, and again, with this guy you need to call 2 months in advance for an appointment, found out he would be in the next day, get your butt in here so off we went yesterday, Thursday.

On the way there I was a combination of scared, and pissed.
The night before this happened we were talking about how maybe, if all goes ok with taxes and stuff we can rent DVC points from our friends again, maybe stay at BLT and AKV.

Now this.

Got to the office at 11:15, right on time, checked in, then called into the first of many little rooms. Smidgy came with me like always.

THis specialist I'm going to see, we go way back and I mean way. He fixed my first detatchment back in 1975 when I was a handsome young lad and he was a distinguished specialist of the retina. Yes, he's very old but sharp as a tack with a dry sense of humor.
We've had a strange relationship, he always want me to make regular appointments but I'd only see him when I needed him. The second time was ten years later, then 4 years later, then 20 years later until I saw him a year ago.

I was a nervous wreck when I was led into the first room for questioning, you know how I get when I'm nervous;
stupid.

"So Steve, what brings you here to see us today?"

"My eye broke and I'd like to trade it in for a newer model."

I half expected her to say, "Oh, ok, we have a nice model over here, in great shape and only used on Sundays by a little old lady to read the hymnal," but no, she was all business.

Then she took my eye pressure, had me read charts and dilated my eyes.
We'll get back to the dilation.

I was then back in the main waiting room.

Eventually, a doctor came into the room and asked for me by my last name, we stood up and followed him to another little room. After asking me a couple of questions that didn't make any sense, Diane and I looked at each other and she asked if he's got the right guy. He repeated my name, then spelled it looking at his charts.

Whoops, wrong spelling, I was the wrong guy.
You want to talk about your confidence level taking a hit?

Just then, MY doctor walked in, looked at me and said, "stay there a moment," and after talking to the other doctor had us follow him. This time he planted us in two chairs in the middle of a hallway, where we spent the next 3 days.

Without water.

Finally he tapped me on the shoulder from behind and brought us into a new little room and examined me.

"Yes, there's a problem in there, I'm going to need more information so I'll tell the photographer to clean off the lens of the scope and we'll take some color picures."

"Tell him to clean off the chin rest, too, ok?"

Then we were led back to the waiting room to, I'm guessing, get good seats for the Super Bowl on the tv on the wall.

They called me again but this time I have to solo, it's a tiny room with a seat for the camera guy and one for me.

I had forgotten how much I detested this.
I've played this game before.

With my chin in the holder, we were ready to start.

I had to stare into this incredibly bright light while he focused, then, just as I was ready to slug him, he pressed the button.

And my head exploded.

I gasped, jerked back, but it was just the beginning.
I was whimpering by the 14th picture.

I would compare it to walking right up to the sun and 5 feet away whisking off your blindfold and staring at it.

Through a magnifying glass!

Finally he told me I could sit back.

Whew

Did I mention that since we're already doing this, might as well take pictures of the other eye as well?

By the time he was finished, I was ready to scream, "OK, ALRIGHT, I'll TALK! Honest, I didn't know she was only 17 back then, she said she was older!"

Then I sat there while the images were transferred to a printer in some other little room and they were studied.

Soon, my doctor came back with the photographer, only this time my doctor has some paraphenalia with him.

I asked, "Is that a needle in your hands or are you just happy to see me?"

I HATE needles, so do my veins, they can actually see one coming near them and they all run away, that way I have to get stuck many times while a doctor or nurse tries to catch one.

Then he told me what I didn't want to hear and I almost bolted, probably might have if I could see anything.

They need to take all the pictures again, only this time with dye running through my veins and up to my eyes.

As he was searching and jabbing for a vein I tried to find a happy place for my mind to go to and started humming "In the big, blue world,,,,,,"

They led me out of there shaking, a shell of my former self back into the waiting room to wait for results.
Again.

Then the doctor came himself and led us into,,,, oh,,,, go ahead, guess...
yes, that's right, another small room.

And he showed us pictures and they weren't of Magic Kingdom.

Due to the extremely long eye I have, (the longer the eye, the more nearsighted you are and the farther back the retina is from the cornea), the center of my retina is stretched extremely thin, and it's breaking down. Some fluid but not blood this time, is cracking through. My eyes are so long that I can just about massage my retinas by scratching the back of my head.

He went on to say that in the recent past they used Laser to try and fix the problem, but int only worked 25% of the time, and when it didn't work, it would leave another scar, doing more damage then good.

And then he got funny.

He told me he want to try a procedure which they've had more success with, it involves injecting a drug into the eye,,,,,
And this was where my brain shut down.
The Meatloaf song came to mind again:

"Stop right there!"
"I want to know right now, before we go any further,,,,,,,,"

I stared at him, "Couldn't you just say you were going to "Put" some new drug into my eye, did you have to use that word?"

"Steve, "put" would be inappropiate, it's "inject".

"Will there be any pain?"

"Always."

Then he went on I think to tell me what the nurse/helper/whatever is going to do to prep me,
but all I heard was,,,"Blah, blah, blah, yada, yada yada..
HE'S GOING TO STICK A NEEDLE IN MY EYE!"

She came in and proceeded to give me a drop from every bottle from all the rooms in the office and started the numbing process.

Silly girl even told me that all I would feel from the shot is a little pressure. Boy, was she naive but I didn't have the heart to tell her that later.

My doctor came back in and it was time.
"Look to the right Steve, look to the right, keep looking to the right,,,,,DONT MOVE YOUR EYE"

I was shaking with effort.
When somebody tell you not to move something, now you just HAVE to move it.

And I felt it all right. No, not just a "little pressure."

"Ok Steve, you can sit back, we're done, good job."

"Can I unclench my butt now?"

More drops followed with more instructions.
I wobbled out of there and the girl said to me, "By, take care now, nive to meet you."

I responded with, "Yeah, been fun, let's do it again sometime, you busy Saturday?"

Diane paid and we were on our way.

They tell me that it will take awhile, two weeks before I see any changes, if any so all I can do now is wait.

Yes, I will of course let you know.

good night, I wish I could say that this was one chapter that I embellished, or exaggerated but I can't, all I could do with the story was tell it in a matter I'm used to, like an idiot. :rotfl:

Hey Nebo,

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. You're a better man than me because I know I wouldn't of been able to endure that.

At least it wasn't as painful as what my Pats did to your Bears a month or so back :)

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Jay

Well Nebo, after reading your last update, I’ve been trying to think of something more to reply with other than, I’m thinking about you and praying for the treatment to work. I still can’t think of anything.:confused3

I do want to thank you and Smidgy for a great cost savings strategy. We will be implementing the use of the Fuzzy Cup! I think the Fuzzy Cup also makes a great wardrobe accessory although I’m having trouble working out a matching cup color for one of my outfits. I may need to confer with Smidgy.:cool2:

Hoping for good news about the treatment!

One thing I will never say again is the second part to that old childhood saying, "Cross my heart, hope to die......."

When I was little my Dad used to use German swear words all the time, at least until I started using them in school not knowing any better. His favorite one was like the rock, mica schist, only pronounced with a long I. That and a word I thought was in Eskimo language, that sounded like Oshluk. :rotfl: Yes, I know what they mean now, I'm sure Marita does too.

:lmao:

Tammy, be surprised what you can do when you have to. I wore contacts for many years, got pretty good at them too, once had to take them out and re-wet them while going through a toll plaza.:lmao:

Sorry for your Dad, Nancy. I once had to have an angiogram to check out what was wrong with my heart. I was awake for the whole thing though, on 4 different tvs' he was pointing out each quadrant to me, of my own heart in action.
I asked him if we could see what was on HBO instead.

Diane - DOn't let him milk it;)

I remember that Janet, if anybody deserves another trip it's YOU! That's a great comment about the fridge, I noticed that too, and kept trying to light my cigarette with my eyes closed. That was in the car on the way home with Smidgy driving and me using the car's cigarette lighter.
Then she hit a small pothole.
How much tar and nicotine is in the end of your nose?

And then, of course, I waited a couple of weeks after my return to see my optometrist, and then a retinal specialist. Don't worry -- he chewed me out pretty good. I'm lucky it didn't lead to a retinal tear.

Anyway, my sympathies. I sincerely hope you're OK. And that you don't have to do that NEEDLE ever again!

-Bob

Hey, Bob's a veteran too! Yep, you were right on the edge of a tear, Posterior vitreous detatchment is a BIG warning sign of a retinal detatchment, sounds like you got it just in time.
And you know what? We live less than 4 miles from I-90.
Coincidence? I think not!

Thanks for the story, Bob .

I remember something about that, too, Monica, didn't know it was that bad. Bob just used a great term for that inferno machine: The Optical Cannon. I didn't know you could get cysts by rubbing your eyes, thanks for the warning and yes, there are some strange connections between us. And yes number 2, I've also had a few "spinals" for foot surgery since I just hate to go under. Drove my surgeon nuts during the operation by talking to him.
When he took out a piece of my hip to graft into my foot,,,"Hip bone's connected to the .....foot bone. Foot bone's connected to the."
When he asked for screws from the nurse to afix the plate? "Remember doc, it's righty tighty, lefty loosey. " He almost put me under anyway,,, with a sledgehammer!

Hey Nebo,

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. You're a better man than me because I know I wouldn't of been able to endure that.

At least it wasn't as painful as what my Pats did to your Bears a month or so back :)

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

Jay

Ah yes, gloating over a meaningless game. Just remember these names in a game that counts:
Ray Berry, Andre Rison, Tony Eason..............Tom Brady.

Rozz, I have found that when matching your outfits to Fuzzy Cups, you can't go wrong with earth tones. Smidgy is the expert on this though, since she can't have her picture taken without holding one in her hand.

Hoping for good news about the treatment!

Hey Bob, I'm from Rockford :rotfl2:I wised up and moved to Texas years ago.

I have had lasik surgery fast and painless.

Nebo I hope you the best recovery with your eye, I will start the collection for your braille keyboard if need.:rotfl2: Love your TR's and real life stories, your so human.:wizard: Really.

Your follower:worship:;)

I went to a school where we were the Argonauts, as in Jason and the..... The Chamber Nautilus is on everything.....so No Go Gators, NO GO Seminoles, GO SNAILS......

I am a little freaked out about your eyes...and the injections. AND I will be your and Smidgy's prayer warrior to help with that sight.

I am a teacher:teacher: and went back to school last week, had trouble with the home internet connections. Tried to post three times last week and lost all three posts. :surfweb:

Then my husband lost his job:confused:.....but we are still going to Disney in March. Got to keep those priorities, and besides.....we promised the kids.

Nebo! I actually remembered to look you up. After we were told about your infamous trip reports though, how could I forget. I am half of the Louisiana couple you met one night waiting for the bus from POP to Epcot. It was great talking to y'all and sucks to hear about your eye sticking.

And I know it's probably been bugging you guys for over a month now, we did get fast passes from guest services at Epcot that night. :) The park was so cold and empty that we didn't even need to use one of them. We tried to talk the guy at Mission: SPACE into letting us wear spacesuits in exchange for our golden fastpass, but he wasn't having it. :( Wonder if that will transer to our next trip which we already have booked for September!

just wear tie dye all the time. goes with anything. I just look like an old hippe (although you're too young to get away with that. me? not so much)

I really just wear the tie dye to cover all my spills. (from leaky fuzzy cups;))

Hey! The other half here. :)

We're arriving on the 22nd and staying through the 27th. We're staying at WL this time (the first time for both of us). Do you guys know where you're staying yet? If you do end up going that is.

Great to see you both! You two were by far the most fun people we met while we were there. :)
