From MNSSHP to MVMCP

DH just found out that he will be receiving an honorary degree during the week we're supposed to be in WDW (10/30-11/6) so now our trip will have to be moved and I chose either the 1st week or 2nd week in December because I want to do a party. I have to do my research all over again and to rebook everything from scratch. The good thing is that I was able to sell our adult MNSSHP tickets and gave my DDs ticket away. I got myself all excited for MNNSHP and now I have to get in the mood for a Xmas party. I don't know, both are two different animals. We were all looking forward to the decor and costumes and trick or treating, the good weather and now we have to remove that from our minds.

I don't know...this is more of a "vent" session than an actual quest for information, but I just hope that the weather is warm and that we'll be able to swim in outdoor pools.

We have been to both, and my family of 6 loved the MVMCP lots more than the MNSSHP! I know it's a personal preference, but figured I would throw in my opinion. December is usually a great time to go, with nice temps during the day, but a little cool at night. We chose to go back this December and cannot wait to see the "World" decorated for Christmas, which adds even more magic. Have a great vacation!

Having done both... I found the MNSSHP to be not near as nice as the Christmas Party.

The park is so much more decorated for Christmas and is snows on main street. There are a lot more special shows... it just felt like more fun to me!
