RitaZ lives in Florida with her husband and 3 kids - 2 boys and a girl. I think the girl is the youngest (90% on this one....). The town she lives in was voted one of the best places to live by some poll a DISer posted a few months back. She vacations in Sanibel sometimes. Her parents came her from Cuba (maybe with Rita in tow, if so, she was a baby) and their story was very daring and heroic of how they came to get here (although somewhat vague in my memory, I remember being very impressed!) Rita's mom likes to shop a lot.Her husband is the last of the big spenders but he has Rita to reel him in.
She attempted doing her own window treatments a couple of years ago and for that she is my hero.
Christine has 2 kids, a boy and a girl. The girl is older and in high school, the boy I think in middle school. The girl goes to Catholic school, not sure about the boy. She works in D.C. and lives in Virginia. Her hair is fine but she has lots of it. She gets up very early in the morning for a long commute and so that she can be off early. She's a native Washintonian/D.C. metro area person, if I'm not mistaken.
Crankyshank works for a college in New England. She and her husband went on a cruise this year. Her inlaws are a little, uhhh, wacky. She's a cradle Catholic and Italian. She has two beagles. They are newish homeowners.
Serena lives in Indiana and works in a department store. She works (worked?) in the fine handbag department where she gets discounts, lucky girl. She went through a divorce while a DISer and came through the better person. She is still friendly with her inlaws, its pretty clear they like her better. She likes guys with dark hair and green eyes (and I'm pulling that one out of somewhere deep Laurie, I may have screwed it up so cut me some slack if I'm wrong, 'kay?
).
Pretty darn good Judi
and thank you
My memory is lousy these last few years, you all amaze me.

I had to bring my teen and his friend to the drugstore so my son could get make-up for drama club last week and I about died from embarrassment. I'm sure my face was bright red when they were picking it out and then paying for it was a hoot (and it wasn't just the make-up, but the whole shopping experience). I almost asked for a bag to put over my head so I wouldn't be recognized.
Yippee skippee!
Yooooohooooooooo! Junie was referring to a meet with me! (always try to elbow in, I see!)
