GREAT EE PIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love your ride photo! You can really see how much you are enjoying the ride! Did you buy it???

i LOVE your ride photo!! You look like you are having the time of your life!! Great update, and i'm with those appalled at the thought of "only" a 1 1/2 mile run before AK - geez, woman, wanna share your stamina? :goodvibes

And Denny got some really fantastic ride photos too!!!!!

For some reason he kept texting me. I think it was something about not being happy that chuck was there supervising them. I just let his rant go in one ear and out the other. Lalalalalalalalalala. I'm not listening!

Why do they do that? UGH!

DH was still asleep, so I set off to get some nasty nescafe to feed my caffiene addiction. Unfortuately, I put way too much cream in my coffee and it made it really luke warm. Bleech! Again - half the coffee went down the drain.

WHEN are you going to pack your own coffee????

:confused3 it would make your morning so much better :)

So I am reading the first part about your feet and thinking to myself....I bet she still goes running!

Good for you is all I have to say! Very impressive and yes 1.5 miles is WAY better than nothing!

Denny took some amazing shots!

Oh you should have bought that ride pic though, it is so full of joy!

Talk about some EE karma, wow!

The EE ride pictures are awesome!! Good Job Denny!! :thumbsup2

You look so happy in your ride picture! :cutie:

Way to go, Denny! Those EE pics ARE amazing! :thumbsup2

And good for you for getting up and running!! I've always thought it would be nice to go by myself for a nice morning walk before going to the parks, but it has yet to happen. :goodvibes

My boys popped by me when I was looking at your EE pics. They each pulled up a chair and said, "Go back to the beginning!" I scrolled back and we enjoyed getting closer and closer to the ripped track....

My DS4 was very disappointed he was a quarter inch short for EE in August so he was thrilled to see what the ride is.... thanks Denny!

That ride picture is The Best!

Those are some great pictures of EE!! I love the ones of the broken track and the Yeti inside :thumbsup2 Your ride photo is the best!! :yay:
I have quite a few pictures from the top of the hill from when I was stuck there! I was just sitting there taking pictures and posting them on facebook before they made us walk down! :rotfl:
We had short lines at EE too....gotta take advantage of that!! :thumbsup2
I can never decide which one I like better on EE...the front or the back?

Tracy

What another great update!! WTG Denny on the photo taking on EE that is awesome!!!!! I love that ride!! It's even better at night so sometime you're going to have to get back over there and ride it at night!!!!

Okay you ran for 1 and half miles that is awesome!! I do a walking video at home but I can barely jog down my driveway so way to go MEK!!

I really want to ride EE. RIGHT NOW!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

Those pics are amazing. We actually walked right on in June after riding KS. We were shocked that there was no line. It was great!!

AK is my favorite park. Can't wait to hear more.popcorn::

OK - I am officially in withdrawal. I have been off the DIS for 24 hours. :scared1: That is a record! I actually was pretty busy at work today and I had to teach ACLS this afternoon. Then i went to a soccer game. But now I am going to respond to everytone! :thumbsup2

What is the difference between a runner and a non-runner?

Us non-runners would NEVER say only 1 1/2 miles, especially before headed to walk AK for the day!!!

The beauty of running is there is a distance for everyone! To someone training for a 1/2 marathon 1 1/2 miles would be a stretch, not a real run! You'd be surprised at what you could do with some training - I'm serious - don't laugh!

Good job Denny!

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denny definately rocked on this particular morning!

Is it safe to open my eyes yet? (I always close them on roller coasters!) I can't believe Denny got such great pictures from the front row because that entails taking your hands off the safety bar!

Yeah - I never thought about that! :rotfl: I guess I would have to take my hands off the safety bar if I WERE to take the pictures. And I was only worried about dropping the camera!

Your ride photo is great!

Thanks!!!!!!

I am with Katie -- as a non-runner, a mile sounds like a lot! :lmao:

You could both do it! You'd be running circles around me in no time!

Computer going way to slow....More responses in next post!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture!! OMG!! You look like your having such a great time!!! Amazing!!!

I can't believe you went running!

It sounds like you guys had a great more to this point! Can't wait to read more!

Oh so cool on the EE walk-on! I don't blame you for wanting to get it ridden. Don't you love the front seat? We are always more than happy to wait for it.:thumbsup2

The front seat was really fun! Better than I thought it would be. I am so riding the front seat again in May. If I'm really lucky, I am going to ride the front seat at night! :thumbsup2

Great picture of you on the ride, YES, I'd say that's quite a smile!

Thanks! I honestly didn't know what that pic looked like until I uploaded it!

Wow what incredible EE pics! :thumbsup2 But as great as those are, the best one is your PP pic! You look so happy :)

Thanks! You can tell I was having a great time in that front row! Definately an adrenaline rush!

I agree about the running, I couldn't even make it half a block.

Oh Baloney!!!! You could make it! Hey - if you got tired there's always shocker's chair. :rotfl:

GREAT EE PIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love your ride photo! You can really see how much you are enjoying the ride! Did you buy it???

Thanks. Honestly, I had no idea the picture was that good. I was too busy taking a picture OF the picture to pay attention. I should have botten it - it would have been a good souvenier and I don't have a ride pic from EE.

Thanks. I was having a blast. And I didn't have to worry about dropping the camera, either!

Seriously - my stamina is bad. The only reason I can still run is because I have been doing it for 20 years. It gets harder every year!

Glad you like the pics!

Why do they do that? UGH!

Because they are teenagers! 'Nuff said!

WHEN are you going to pack your own coffee????

:confused3 it would make your morning so much better :)

I've been waiting for you to comment on that! :rotfl: Don't worry ---- in May I will definately be bringing my own coffee. I will pick out something really yummy. If I had brought my own coffee on this trip, I would have needed my own coffee pot. Too much work for lazy me!

So I am reading the first part about your feet and thinking to myself....I bet she still goes running!

See how well you know me!

Denny took some amazing shots!

Oh you should have bought that ride pic though, it is so full of joy!

Talk about some EE karma, wow!

thanks. You're right - I should have bought the ride pic. I just didn't know it turned out that well! Maybe I should pay better attention next time!

Love the EE pictures!!! So glad you got to ride in the front!

Denise

Thanks. I definately recommend front row for your upcoming trip. You will NOT regret it!

The EE ride pictures are awesome!! Good Job Denny!! :thumbsup2

You look so happy in your ride picture! :cutie:

Thanks for the compliment, coming from the photographer extraoridinaire! Definately a happy moment!

Ok, valid point, you were at POP. No excuse next time, coffee maker in the room!

I need to try and ride in the front seat on that one. We lucked out on front seats several times but not on EE. Oh at night....I really hope you get to see it!

Way to go, Denny! Those EE pics ARE amazing! :thumbsup2

I've been passing along all the nice comments to Denny. He is quite pleased. thanks!

And good for you for getting up and running!! I've always thought it would be nice to go by myself for a nice morning walk before going to the parks, but it has yet to happen. :goodvibes

I really do enjoy the solitude of the morning. It is really the only time you have all day to enjoy the quiet moments and really reflect. That's probably why I enjoy running so much. The quiet time makes it less of a chore.

My boys popped by me when I was looking at your EE pics. They each pulled up a chair and said, "Go back to the beginning!" I scrolled back and we enjoyed getting closer and closer to the ripped track....

I'm so glad you boys enjoyed the pictures. I remember seeing similiar pictures and thinking, "Wow. I want those".

Poos DS4 - what a bummer - 1/4 inch. He probably grew that much already since August. Oh well - just another reason to plan another trip. Right? ;)

!

That ride picture is The Best!

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Those are some great pictures of EE!! I love the ones of the broken track and the Yeti inside :thumbsup2 Your ride photo is the best!! :yay:

Thanks. They really are my favorite pictures of the whole trip! Can't help it - I just love them!

I have quite a few pictures from the top of the hill from when I was stuck there! I was just sitting there taking pictures and posting them on facebook before they made us walk down! :rotfl:

Wait...Stop right there.....You got stuck on the top of the hill????? For how long???? When - your recent trip????? Spill - I want the details. popcorn:: And where the heck is your TR? If you don't have a TR, post a few hill pictures on here. That would be so cool to see!

:
We had short lines at EE too....gotta take advantage of that!! :thumbsup2
I can never decide which one I like better on EE...the front or the back?

Well, considering I am officially old.....I now find the back of most coasters a little rough and sometimes I have a brief headache or neckache afterwards, so I like the front to middle. yup, one more reason why getting old s__ks!

What another great update!! WTG Denny on the photo taking on EE that is awesome!!!!! I love that ride!! It's even better at night so sometime you're going to have to get back over there and ride it at night!!!!

Thanks! My single goal for May is to ride EE at night! That's why I am going there all day. I want to get FP's during the day and bring one back at night. I know that's a No-No, but as Brian would text IDC!

Okay you ran for 1 and half miles that is awesome!! I do a walking video at home but I can barely jog down my driveway so way to go MEK!!

Ah come on - you are still a young'n, too. You could do it!

I really want to ride EE. RIGHT NOW!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!

I hear ya'. I think everyone here wants to ride EE right now, except maybe CP who might still have her eyes closed!

Those pics are amazing. We actually walked right on in June after riding KS. We were shocked that there was no line. It was great!!

In June????????? When in June???????? It obviously wasn't when I was there in June! :rotfl:

AK is my favorite park. Can't wait to hear more.popcorn::

I am definately going through an AK phase right now where it is high on my list of parks. I just think there is soooooooooo much to do there that it is impossible to get it all done in one visit. Remember when people used to call AK the 1/2 day park. pfffft! Not at all.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture!! OMG!! You look like your having such a great time!!! Amazing!!!

I really, truely was. but check out those girls behind me.....I don't think they are having nearly as much fun as I am! :rotfl:

I can't believe you went running!

What can I say?????

It sounds like you guys had a great more to this point! Can't wait to read more!

We really did have an amazing trip. One of the best ever!

Thank you for forgiving me for drinking BAD coffee! I promise it will never happen again.

And, yes, add riding EE in the front row to those beautiful planning pages you are working on!

Ok - I got up way too early this morning and instead of doing something productive, I am on the Dis. I thought I would post some more pics that I took after our front row ride on EE:

I just started reading Practically Perfect Patricia's TR (better later than never) and she commented about all the amazing detail at the AK. I think there pictures are testament to that. Honestly, this is the first time I even noticed some of these things near the EE attraction. I kept finding things to photograph. I actually think Denny was getting a little inpatient as my nearly discovered awareness of detail "forced" me to keep taking pictures.
