From French Quarter to Boma

Obviously I'm think the best way to get to Boma for 9:00 breakfast from French Quarter would be to take the AK bus then once at AK take the bus to the AK Lodge. Just wondering would it be just as quick to take Epcot or HS buses then from either of those parks take the AK Lodge bus? This all depends on which bus shows up first at FQ.

I would stick with the ak bus to akl. Or a cab if your running late.

IMO, while the Boma breakfast is good, it is not worth going to unless staying on AKL property. It is quite the hastle for pretty much the same breakfast buffet that you can find just about everywhere else. Sure, there are a couple of dishes unique to the buffet, but nothing stands out that would give me reason enough to go if not staying at AKL. You are much better off trying to land a TH breakfast if this is going to be your AK day or, better yet, save Boma for dinner and spend some time walking around the resort at night.

If your heart is set on Boma breakfast, your fastest and easiest option is to take a taxi. Otherwise, the bus to AK and then a bus to AKL will work best, but give yourself a good 90-120 mins to get from POFQ to AKL.

Oof. Lots of negativity in there! I've done this exact trip POFQ to AKL multiple times (we really enjoy Boma for breakfast!) and never has it taken us 2 hours. Give yourself an hour and a half from your door to the restaurant and you should have plenty of time. You can always cab it from AK to AKL if you're running late, but since you're going in the AM around park opening, the buses should be applenty!

I would take a cab, but taking the bus to AK and then to AKL would probably be my next choice. There should be plenty of buses running at that time of the morning, and you shouldn't have any trouble getting on a bus that has just dropped off from AKL - not many people are going back to the resorts at that time of day.

A bus that just dropped off from AKL won't necessarily be going right back there. Better would be to (a) tell your PO bus driver where you're actually going and ask for the best get , or (b) approach a CM in the AK bus area and ask for assistance.

We are staying at POR and have an 8 am ressies at Boma, I plan on taking a cab. I do this also for breakfast at Cape May. Last year I think it ran about $12 from POR to Cape May and took about 10 minutes. For my family, it's worth it to save time and avoid the hassle.

1) Take a taxi.
2) It is a two-bus ride to AKL.
3) And, you do not know how long a wait between buses.

NOTE: There are no resort-to-resort buses. The exception are buses
that make multiple route stops, such as FW-to-WL-to-GF.
