Thanks to this forum and everyone who commented, we made our offer on the "perfect for us" contract at BLT, the seller countered at $1 more per point, and I'm filling out our part of the contracts and getting our deposit ready right now! Literally made the offer around 11am and here we are.

This thread is such a great resource - without you all, patiently answering my questions and responding on other people's threads, there is no way we could have done this properly. Very excited to start planning our 2018 trips - so long as Disney doesn't ROFR, we will be going in February and November 2018. Yeah!!

For what it's worth: Our BLT contract passed ROFR last Friday (I think I saw a couple of BLT's that passed last friday). Hopefully they won't take yours either!!!

Congrats! We are in the same boat. We came to an agreement last week after some spirited negotiating on a contract at BLT. Paperwork is all signed and we are in the ROFR cue.

Congrats on the contract! Getting a counter at $1 more a point is almost as good as a quick acceptance. I bet it was very easy for you to say yes to that counter offer!
