I guess I just assumed that you had to be a kid to get one of those kids meals. I may have to try this sometime when I'm not very hungry. (Not sure when that'll be though.

)
At the CS you can just order what you want - they won't ask you wether you have a child who will then eat the meal. Most of the times the kids meals aren't that appealing anyway, but for the Mickey waffle, I really like it!
You probably just got distracted....like Dug.

Great answer!
We Americans wondered how you folks drive around on those bumpy roads all the time. (Just kidding)
We thought so and wanted to make that clear. Especially since you know from first hand experience that Belgian roads are really as horrible as the "Belgian blocks" at Test Track!
Good edit Katharina! Thanks for thinking of us "pop" people.
Yes, she has learned a lot from being on the DIS! But this is also a good point to mention that Katharina actually is a great editor for the TR! You are all lucky that she gets to read everything first and manages to eradicate lots of typos, bad grammar and unintelligible sentences. Thanks for that Katharina!!
But I guess it gives us a short reprieve from this:
She sounded rather vengeful!!!
I love how you throw in little tidbits about Germany like the block roads and the soft drinks. It's cool to hear about that culture.
My dad wants us to take a trip to Germany with him next year. In the military, he spent lots of time there, and I mentioned once before, it's our heritage.
I am glad that you enjoy the tidbits about Germany! I think everyone here brings with them a different perspective and that's one thing I enjoy about TRs.
Yes, I remember that you mentioned the German heritage. I think going with your dad would be a really interesting trip! A few years ago we went on a family trip to the area where my father grew up and it was really interesting to hear all the stories about how he lived there as a kid. So I guess your father will have many stories to tell as well! And if you can convince him to go on a side trip to the island of Sylt there might even be some surfing for you as well!

But I think it is more windsurfing there...
Sounds like a great morning at Epcot! I didn't realize until very recently that Epcot has a "Family of the Day" and they get to ride in a Test Track car, I think that is very cool! I would LOVE it! But, I suppose you have to be early to the turnstiles to be the Family of the Day...and well...we have YET to make a rope drop.
Yes, being there really early would be kind of important...

But I think they tend to pick families with slightly older children since the family of the day gets to ride on Soarin and Test Track first thing in the morning. So they might want to make sure that the whole family can ride it. I think so far as I remember the kids are usually at least 5 or so... But they also have a family opening the park at the turnstiles.
I think Beverly mixed with orange juice sounds good...the bitter with the sweet to make a balanced drink! We haven't done Club Cool the past couple of trips, so I can't remember which one I liked the best, or how Beverly actually tasted though!
Well, one thing to put on your list of things to do in September!
Dear readers, I am off on a vacation to England tomorrow early in the morning! So there won't be any updates until I return on August 3. I hope everyone continues to have a great summer, I will be looking forward to a few days in London and then hiking along the coastline in Dorset. My father and I will hike the last stretch of the South West Coast Path which we will complete on August 2. We will then have hiked more than 1000 km (that's 630 miles) since 1998!
