From BWI to Universal

What would you recommend for the most budget minded, but easiest way to go to Universal for their horror nights? we're going for one night - a sunday, and want to know what's the best way to get there - taxi, rental car, or something else? and an approximation of the cost would be great too. thanks!

Town cars are about $75-85 round trip. I think I read cabs are about $50 round trip, but maybe someone will know for sure.

Mears has a shuttle for about $14/roundtrip per person. Another option is to take the public transportation Lynx bus (#50). The cost each way is $1.50/pp or $3 roundtrip.

Does the Lynx go to Universal? I thought it only went to Sea World?

Anyone know what the pick-up and return times are using Mears. Are they set or can you choose them. Their website says only that they have convenient times.
