Hello, we're staying at BC and on our last day have a 9am breakfast at 1900 PF. Am I correct in thinking that the quickest (only?) way to get there is to take the bus to MK and then the monorail to GF? And would I reverse the steps to get back or is there a quicker way (ex. bus to Epcot and boat to BC)? Our flight is 1:50pm so I'm not sure when the ME bus will be picking us up, we tend to be slow eaters so I want to make sure we allow ourselves enough time to get back. Better yet, could we have Bell Services send our luggage over to the Contemporary and get on the ME bus from there?

Bus to the MK and resort monorail or boat to the GF would be your best options using Disney transport. The boat dock is on the way to the monorail station from the bus depot, so unless there's a boat pulling out as you are walking by that may very well be quicker. The GF is the first stop the boat makes after leaving the MK, but it is the last stop before the monorail gets all the way back around to the MK.

DME will not pick you up at a resort other than the one where you are staying. The biggest challenge you have is that your pick up time will be approximately three hours before your flight time and you'll need to be back at BC and ready to go about 15 minutes before then. As a result, you probably want to plan on being back at BC by 10:30 a.m. Since I would leave at least an hour to get back using Disney transport, that would have you leaving 1900 PF at 9:30 a.m. You could stretch that to 10:00 a.m. or maybe 10:15 a.m. if you take a cab back to the BC from the GF.

Also, I would use RAC to check your bags at the resort and get your boarding passes. You can do that as soon as the desk opens at 5:00 a.m. and have to have it completed no later than 10:50 a.m. That will save you a little bit of fussing with luggage when you're ready to leave.

Bottom line is that your plan is doable only if you take a cab back to the BC after breakfast and that still doesn't leave you time for a true leisurely dining pace.

Yes the quickest way is bus to mk then monorail and the same for going back. The only other way which might be a little longer is takeing the boat to dhs then transfer to the grand bus or walk to Dhs but that be longer but get ever one hungry so they can eat a lot. Have fun and enjoy the meal

Thanks for the feedback.

:scared1: That kinda sounds like a stressful way to end the trip. For some reason I was thinking that DME would pick us up about 2hrs before the flight time but just now realized we're supposed to be at the airport 2hrs before...:headache:

My family eats slow and dh won't like running around. It sounds like I need to either switch the day of the breakfast or save it for a future trip. Thank you both for your prompt and thorough responses! :flower3:

The quickest way, going to GF, would be to bus to MK, then boat over to GF. The boat's first stop from MK will be GF, while the resort monorail has to go almost the entire way around the resort loop and several stops to get to GF (these stops could be long ones around park opening time).

Going back to BC, get on the monorail at GF and ride the one stop to MK, and then bus back to BC.
