From ASMo to POFQ

SOOOOOO EXCITED! I originally booked a four night stay at ASMo (3 adults) with free dining that I upgraded to DxDining. I've been worried about sharing a full size bed with my husband. I called the magic that is 407WDISNEY today and spoke with Garrison who was AWESOME!!! I asked if there was anything available with queen sized beds that would allow us to keep free dining. Since the promotion dates for our booking were over, he had to put me on hold and go through guest services, but i was able to upgrade to a room at POFQ with a river view for about $250. Totally worth it to have a larger bed....and experience a new resort! What are your favorite things about the POFQ that I should know about?

The only place in WDW that serves beignets! They are wonderful. I love the fact that everything seems close, including the bus stop, the first stops on for pick-up and drop-off before picking up POR.

POFQ is a lovely resort. Very quiet and peaceful, right on the river and it has a great food court. I also think the building exteriors are the prettiest of any resorts. Also, the rooms have just been redone and they really look nice from the pictures I have seen.

We love both Port Orleans resorts, you'll also be able to use any of the pools over at POR since they are "sister" resorts. You can take a carriage ride, rent a surrey bike both of which are fun ways to explore Port Orleans.
