From Amtrak to Pop?

When we travel to POP in Aug, myself,my husband and 3 of our kids are driving in, my oldest and my mother are taking Amtrak.. what are the best options to get them from the Amtrak station to POP... and if we are already checked in what does she do if we are not there ( say of the train is wayyy late?)..anyone have an advice?

We just took a taxi....I can't remember how much it was. As for checking in, won't she have her own key. I would just tell the front desk at check in that part of your party is coming in later.
