On 10/4 which is a Friday, I will be going to AK. Would like to be there for rope drop. We have ADR for 5:45 @ Crossroads at House of Blues DTD, before our La Nouba show at 9pm. Hoping to get in most of Animal Kingdom, if I am too tired, I will leave before the parade and maybe rest and freshen up before heading to DTD. If I do that, I would take the bus back to POR and then boat to DTD, or is there a bus straight to DTD from AK? If I wanted to go straight from AK to DTD, what is the latest I should leave AK? What Disney transportation would be the most efficient way to do if I have to go straight from AK to DTD? There wouldn't be just one bus that would go straight there, I don't think?

Top goals to see and do list for Animal Kingdom:
❤Kilimanjaro Safaris
❤Festival of the Lion King
❤Finding Nemo Musical
❤It's Tough to be a Bug!
❤Flights of Wonder
❤Pangani Forest Exploration Trail
❤Maharaja Jungle Trek

Do these things seem doable giving me enough time to get to DTD in enough time to make my 5:45 ADR, provided I get to the park early? Thank you.

You're in luck for transportation between AK and DTD. During September and October Disney is running buses from AK to DTD starting at 3 PM.

I would allow an hour for travel time. The actual bus ride won't take that long, but there's no way of knowing how frequently the bus will come so you need to allow wait time if in case you just missed it.

If you find yourself running late you can take a taxi from AK to DTD. There are usually taxis waiting by the bus stop area.

Whether you'll be able to fit everything in if you arrive at rope drop, will depend on the times for the 3 shows and how much time you spend on the Pangani Forest and Maharajah Jungle trails.

Disney is currently testing out direct bus service between AK and DTD in the afternoons and evenings, so you're in luck. Normally there are no buses between a park and DTD, so a resort transfer is required. The service is new and I haven't tried it, but I would go with the usual estimate of 45 minutes or so when using a bus between any two locations. That gives you time in case you just miss a bus and have to wait for the next one. If your dinner ADR is at 5:45 pm, I would aim to be there around 5:30 pm. To be safe and allow time for walking from the DTD bus stop to the restaurant, I would be at the AK bus stop by 4:30 pm. I'd rather be early and wander around DTD for a little bit.

If you get to AK early, I think you'll be okay for the items on your list. The biggest issue is see is planning for FotLK and Nemo. Both only run at specific times and both can take a fair amount of time (waiting for the show and then the show itself). I would figure out which show times work for you and then slot in the other rides/shows when convenient.
