? from a new DVCer: Do we HAVE to call MS for dining reservation?

Either way will work. We used MS last time for the first time and it worked very well. Plus, it's a toll free number.

We use whatever one has the shortest wait time, which is MOST often not DVC. It helps having free long distance.

I call 407-WDW-DINE. I usually make my ADRs in the evening and it's too late to call MS at that time of day. Plus I find the wait times at the dining number are short (or nonexistent) at the time I usually call.

Happy Birthday Cat: You are so right; the wait for MS is very long compared with my experiences with CRO. I've called MS a few times in planning our first trip as DVC members, and I notice that the CMs are not as friendly as the ones from CRO, at least the 3 I've encountered on about 5 occasions. I know that's small stuff. . .just an observation .

I do have the 800 number for CRO; I never use the 407 number, but I stated that in my post so that people knew what I was referring to. Thanks for the info .

I call CRO for my dining reservations and to get my MVMCP tickets and such. Much easier I think.

I have never called MS. I am being nice to the rest of you by not tieing up the phone line LOL! I just call the regualar Disney dining number.
