Frog Tog Storage

So I bought a couple of Frog Togs today for our summer vacation. I noticed that you need to store them wet. What does everyone do?? Store them in Ziploc bags?? I was thinking of vacuum sealing them for long term storage.

I just bought one too and it was wet when I bought it. I was also wondering it if needed to stay wet to prevent damage to the towel or something, like a chamois. I am going to check out the website and see if it says it "has" to stay wet. If I find out anything, I will be sure to post back.

I just read that you can store it in a ziplock bag. It is okay if it dries out but may need to be washed in hot water to soften it again in the event it is stored for a long period of time and not used.

I did as it said and stored it wet and it got moldy..

SO I just hang mine up in the shower to dry. It dries stiff as a board. When I need to use it again and all I do is rewet it with cold water and it is soft again. I have had mine for 2 years.

I roll mine up wet and stick it in the fridge. So far so good (I bought it early this spring) and when I need it, I just pull out of the fridge and go.

I did that this past week (sat-sat) btwn baseball games. It was stinky when I took it out...like soured laundry.

I wash mine in the machine between uses. . .maybe that's part of it? I dunno, it works for us.

Do you wash it between uses? I've always washed mine in the machine (w/soap and water) after each use b/c if I use it, I know someone was sweating hard and the stink factor would be pretty awesome if I didn't.

Yep, waged in machine and air dried. Then wet it, rolled it up and put it back on original container in the fridge.

We store dd's in the container it came in. If it gets smelly we throw it in the washer get it out and put back in container. We have had it for about 2 years with no problems

We let ours dry stiff and then just wet it when we want to use it. We do wash it after use. Going on 2 years and no issues.

I will make sure to sniff mine before use from now on! It doesn't sit for very long between uses either, though. But if it sits for more than a few days, I will be careful. Thanks!

That's what I do. DD has had her's for about 3 years. Good as new still.
