OMG, this is too funny! DS just went into the bathroom and shouted out, "OMG, this is a World Record, there is a ....." (I didn't get the world record reference,:confused3 but I was thinking he was going to say cockroach or whatever else usually ends up in the toilet.) anyway, he did say "FROG IN THE TOILET!!" Well, I thought he was kidding, but I went in and looked and right up under the rim was a tree frog! (And yes, the poor thing did get peed on, DS thought it was "something else".) I grabbed at him, and he slipped through my fingers and landed on my arm! So then I could get him in hand and take him outside. How in the world did he get inside, into an inner room that happened to have water in it?! He must have just gotten in, otherwise we would have found him dried up. Boy, did he jump away fast!

Sorry if this was gross, but since I was the one holding the peed on frog and I could handle it, I thought y'all could too!

Have a GREAT SATURDAY!!

You might want to take out the *possibly* out of your title

You get the mom award of the day from me, wtg! I don't what I'd do if I were in your shoes- hahaha.

Kuddos to you for doing the "green" thing (so to speak) and trying to catch it. I'm afraid I would have been so freaked out that I would have flushed (the toilet, that is)!:lmao:

Aww poor little guy. I'm glad you caught him and set him free!:thumbsup2

I thought the world record was going to be something else...:lmao::rotfl:

Me too.;) I was happy it was a little peed on frog instead of that!

based on my experiences moving tree frogs (though, I admit, never from a toilet!), I'm sure you got peed on as well, before you finally got him gone!

He probably did. DS peed on him, he peed on me. I'm stopping the cycle!

Let's just say I got pee on me...who it previously belonged to (frog or DS) I don't really know. It's not the first time I have gotten pee on me!

What?

No pictures? I am very disappoinnted!! I see you have several (beautiful) pictures in your signature, and you didnt think of taking a picture of a frog in your toilet? hmmmm :confused3
:lmao:

Ohhh tag fairy!!!! :wizard::rotfl:

So, how was DS's reaction as you were trying to get the frog outside? Was he subdued, was he hyper with excitement? what?

We had a bullfrog in the toilet in my DD's bathroom a few months ago. I heard this very loud noise coming from her bathroom. When I opened the lid to the toilet, it jumped out at me. I grabbed it in a towel and through it outside. Since the lid of her toilet had been closed since she had gone away to college a few weeks prior, it had to have come up through the pipes. Crazy!

I thought of a picture, but didn't think anyone wanted to see the inside of my toilet...don't forget, DS had just used it!

Someone else's pee isnt' even the worst thing I have gotten on me..

Peg, I would have FREAKED about a bullfrog. DH would have had to have helped that guy out. I stop when the critters are over the size of a golfball. I don't know how this little guy got in our bathroom. Any tree frog that has had the misfortune of hopping into our house usually doesn't get noticed until he is dried up in a corner with the dust bunnies!

You are my hero. I would never have been able to touch that little frog, much less carry him outside. Frogs skeeve me out. Add to the fact that we are all girls here, therefore would not have been standing to see said frog-I truly may have passed out!

You have made my day. And I am so happy that you freed the frog.

Speaking of frogs, my new dog, Bandit, thinks there is nothing more fun than catching frogs. Here is Orlando, we have a ton of frogs. At night, you'll see them all over my white vinyl fence. I've had to take Bandit out on his leash at night to keep him from grabbing every frog he sees. Tonight, it was raining. I didn't want to go out, so I sent him out by himself. Big mistake. The next thing I see is him standing there with a frog in his mouth. He wouldn't come to me because he knew I'd make him drop it. So, I ended up going outside, in the rain, with a milkbone. Only when I put the milkbone up to his nose, did he open his mouth. The frog jumped out. I screamed. Bandit at the milkbone. We both got wet. Great evening so far!

When my DH was visiting his grandfather in central FL, at night, when he had to go to the bathroom, he was surprised by a frog. It was all white and hiding in the toilet. When he opened the lid (and I could not believe that in a house owned by a widower that the lid was actually down, but I digress), the frog jumped out at him and almost gave him a heart attack. Luckily, DH hadn't actually started his business or the bathroom might have needed a bit of cleaning that night . . .

Feralpeg, that is funny about your dog! My first dog used to chase frogs as a pup. One night, he caught one and swallowed it. The next morning, we found that our pooch had barfed it back up, and the position ol' Kermit was in was disgustingly funny.
