I have tried product after product. Brand after brand. Gel, foam, serums, sprays.....NOTHING works. Nothing. My hairdresser even admits that not much would help. I grew out my hair and plan to wear it back in a ponytail or whatever. I am still searching though and just today bought the product that Brenda recommended. The ISO Foam tamer. I have it in my hair now and have to dry it now. I hope and pray that this is the miracle worker.
I hope it works for you!!

CHI, who makes flat irons also has a hair care line. The shampoo and conditioner are great but the styling cream and the silk infusion are fabulous. The silk infusion is a leave in treatment and it is not greasy and does not caot the hair like a serum. Instead your hair soaks it in and it looks shiny and does not frizz. I just came back from Fla and I used this stuff....really great. I got it at Ulta. Even if I don't blow dry my hair straight the Silk Infusion on air dried hair softens the frizz and gives you shine bounce and soft waves. I use the Styling cream before blow drying but always sue the silk infusion.

Also during the summer I always get a deep conditioning treatment (no chemicals) It lasts for 6 weeks and costs $75, but keeps the frizz down and makes hair soft, shiny and easy to manage.

i just tried the new sunsilk anti poof shampoo and conditioner. i think hair tends to "poof" more than frizz in the humidity. i will be blowing it out with bed head control freak serum so i will let you know how this works! :rotfl:
My thick hair also poofs instead of frizzing. Where do I find Sunsilk products. Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

If you have a Smart Style salon (inside Walmart) go there. For $9.99 you get a tall 9-10 oz. bottle of frizz gel. The gel is very thin and there's no holding power to it so you can still use your regular gels and sprays w/o your hair feeling more gooey or heavy. Good luck!

I tried the ISO foam tamer and it did just ok. My hair frizzes, shrinks, poofs and waves. I just think I am doomed.

Oh bummer:( I've had great luck with it....

We used to be in FL and are now in the Washington DC (which is actually more humid in my opinion). The only stuff I've ever found that works consistently, and doesn't gunk up my hair is by a company called Ouidad (www.ouidad.com). They are on the pricey side, but really work, and they have a quiz thing where you answer questions and they tell you which products would work best.

I highly recommend them. It's 101 degrees here today and about to thunderstorm, and I am not frizzy at all. And this from someone who was teased all through middle school for having a frizzy head!

Yep! Another Ouidad user here...
My hair was awful until I discovered their products! My hair is very curly and totally frizzes out at the drop of a hat. With Ouidad products my hair is almost normal (still curly, but not frizzy). I recommend it to anyone with curly hair.

i don't even pack my flat iron when I go to disney. i wear my hair wavy and it leaves more space for souveniers. i work in a salon and we carry the Bumble and bumble products. I use Defrizz and Brilliantine and they are great for making your hair wavy and not frizzy.

It is horribly humid here most of the year, and my hair was cursed with frizz. I have given up and now I keep it short to help control it (and because I am too lazy to make it look like anything but a giant pile of snarls). I use Pantene restoratives shampoo and conditioner, the one for frizzy hair (of course) plus just a little hair gel, comb it and let it air dry. It works pretty well, considering that is all the attention I give it, and it is really bad. Of course, when I blow dry it I look like I licked a light socket.

I live in New Orleans and frizzy hair is a way of life for me from May through October. I don't have curly hair, but it is slightly wavy - enough to make it frizz. I've sometimes use John Frieda Frizz-Ease serum and it helps some. The "Frizz-Ease" has a whole line of products but I've only used the serum.

i use the John Freida serum and the gel and they work great for me!
