I'm going down in July and staying at the Poly for the very first time (YEAH!!! ). What is the best longhouse to stay in (we have a garden view room)?

I am traveling with my mom, who is having problems with her knees (she can get around but has to take it slow and stairs are sometimes hard). I know that if I put in for a specific house it is not guaranteed but I just want to have some idea before we head down.

Next to the Great Ceremonial House, the most conveniant longhouse is Rarotonga. Easy walk the ticket exchange center, easy access to the pools. Probably the most popular, so if your interested, you better call now and make your request. You can call Disney reservations now, though you will also need to call the resort the week before.

I would probably agree with the other poster considering your moms mobility problems. Its a very centrally located longhouse and close to the gch for monorail access and a shorter walk to the bus stop if you follow the paths and take a shortcut, not through the gch, close to captain cooks for snacks etc. not too far from the pools or beach for fireworks or ewp viewing. Also its close if there is a rainstorm, you can just take a shortcut through niue from the gch if you are coming off the monorail to get to your bldg. If you plan to spend alot of time at the resort instead of the park then also samoa or aerotoroa would be good choices.
