Does anyone else have friendship day around their community tomorrow?
For one day, we can buy a dozen roses for $5 at our local Growers Direct flower shop. Then you can hand out 1 rose to each of your neighbours and friends.
I remember this event last year. Although I don't remember exactly when it was, I do remember that where I used to live the nearest flower shop was giving out a limited number of roses for free. Call your local florist and see if they are participating. For those near Ottawa, I know the florist in Manotick participated last year.
