I can't believe they hated this.I heard it's a must see. They just got back Sunday and said the weather was perfect and no crowds. They even swam at night. They stayed at Pop Century and felt like it was just OK.They prefer the moderates.

I think you should check if their noses are warm or cold - they may be ill! We were there in October and thought it was really enjoyable. We loved it!

It's a wonderful show. I find it hard to believe anyone could dislike it. It's not "scary" like ITTBAB or "HISTA". Wow.

we loved mickey's philharmagic!

i've never really had one favorite character, but this show cleared up a lot of issues for me, after i realized...i'm married to donald duck! after seeing the show, i bought dh dd boxers and myself dd pins!

i love that duck and this show especially! find out for yourself!

I really like the show, too. The only thing I didn't like was the soaring part with Aladdin and Jasmine. Got me a little queasy. A fun show, though, but it needs more Mickey.

I loved the movie, but felt like the theater entry was EXTREMELY poorly laid out. It was like cattle cramming in there, not organized at all! That part was horrible, almost enough to make me not do it again, especially with my grandmother, it's hard on her getting run over like that, even with 4 of us trying to block the crowds off her.

We loved it!!! The 'Be Our Guest' segment made me hungry! We did this show several times and never got tired of it.

We loved the show but agree on the entrance being poorly designed.

To me, Mickey's Philarmagic is Walt Disney in a nutshell. You get to see Mickey and Minnie and the classics (I agree, not enough), but you get to see Arial, Aladdin, Beauty and The Beast, Peter Pan. It's classic. It's magical, and it's not scary. My daughter flipped out when she saw her beloved Lion King. Then she really flipped out when he roared :) But it didn't scare her. She's two, and she loved it. We went to this twice, and I don't think I'll ever tire of it.

I do agree that they could make the entrance a little better. We allowed people to go in before us, instead of pushing. That was the preferred way of entering the room.

I hadn't expected to, but we LOVED it! I can't wait til my kids get to see it as well, I know they will love it too! What didn't they like about it (other than the entrance, which I agree is poorly laid out)?

Another one who loved it here. The only one I know who wasnt too fond of it was DS, 4, who isnt too thrilled about the glasses at any of the shows. Im sure he will outgrow that issue soon. ;)

we saw the show while in disney during the christmas holiday and my family thought it was great...personally, i think it is the best 3d show that the park has to offer...
however, i do agree that the waiting area and the entry way into the theater is a complete mess...they really need to do something about that....

We loved it too! I especially loved the "apple pie smell". We went on it a couple times--the first time I sat through it in amazement (so did the kids, who barely moved!). Saw it a second time and it was just as good. Best 3-D movie in WDW!

Can someone explain how the waiting area and entrance is set up?

Is it set up like Tough To Be A Bug? I remember people picking a door here and waiting for them to open. Once opened everyone entered and picked a row.
From the above posts I guess it doesn't work this way at Philharmagic; more of a free for all.

When do you think is the best time to go? Is it open for EE? I'm really excited about this show. I've heard so many great things about it, I just can't wait to see it.:bounce: :Pinkbounc

I loved it! My grandmother could take it of leave it (82 and not a Disney person let alone a Disney show person...she is complaining about everything!) My aunt who will be 60 shortly has begged, pled and everything else to get to go back on it today when we visit the Kingdom. She said she would even do it TWICE while we went on something else. And that is amazing since she has to try and drive an ECV though that herd!

It was definitely a "sleeper" favorite for my family. We saw it three times one day and twice another day. And DS was still asking to see it again! I didn't feel that the entry area was any worse than any other.... Muppets 3D was the same way, Voyage of the LM was quite similar, Playhouse Disney was a cattle stampede to get into, as was Hall of Presidents.... people just need to learn that all the seats are good and they will only let in the amount of people that can fit, so everyone will get a seat!

I think the entrance was worse to us because we were toward the rear of the theater (the right as you come in the room) and it sort of curves back there...there's no door really close, so it was very disorganized, people didn't know where to go, and with so few doors it was much more difficult to stay together...And we hung towards the back, and still got pushed, shoved, and run over much worse than in any of the other shows...it could have been our positioning toward the back, however.

I saw Philharmagic and throught it was pretty good. The "Be Our Guest" scene, the "Part if Yor World" scene, and the parts where Donald is flying though Agrabah and Donald interacts with the brooms were very nice. IMO, the rest was OK, but not that great. It's good, but MuppetVision is still my favorite 3D movie at Disney.

We didn't like it enough to ever see it again. We had FP and
waited in long and crowded areas. We were seated, put on our
3D glasses and before we knew it-the show was over. There
is almost no Mickey in it-mostly Donald which thrilled DS as he
is a big Donald fan. It's definitely classic Disney but nothing new
and the 3D was good but it has been good before so no big deal.
I expected something really special. So did DH, we left with a
shrug and "well now we've done that" attitudes. More hassle
getting in than it was worth IMHO. Hope you like it!
