Friends hated Mickey's Philharmonic

Can see how someone may not have been thrilled with it but to "hate" it?!?! Just think if they have that feeling toward it, they must not like a lot of attractions at WDW. Its a great attraction for the entire family.

Check their pulse... this was one of the highlights of our trip and our kids just LOVED it. It made you feel happy and set the tone for our Magic Kingdom day... we saw it fairly early in the day.

I really like the Philharmagic...... Actually, we really loved all of the 3-D shows at the parks. I think we saw 1 in each park. They do an awesome job... It may not be for everyone, but I can't imagine anyone hating it!

We tried this last fall. I'll do it again if someone in our party hasn't seen it, but kinda like the Tiki Room for me. I read raves about it and don't get it. Maybe we had a bad seat.

we loved it and went back to Mk just to see it and the mickey statues ( didn't even stop to get a ice cream cookie sandwich!)

Didn't like it? This was one of my favorite attractions on our last trip. I don't remember the waiting area being that bad except for maybe the portion out in front of the theater itself. All in all I really enjoyed it!

It was a pretty decent show, but kind of short {12 minutes} It seems that you just got seated and it was over. My beef was that the angle of the seating should have had been just a little steeper. We sat about three quarters of the way back and could not see a fairly large part of the bottom of the screen because of all the heads in front of us. I'd say it's about the worst layed out of any of the sit down theatre shows. Maybe the screen should have been higher up. Does anyone remember if they changed the layout since Lion King was there? The one improvement they made was at least putting up the railings so that the people could at be herded almost single file into the theatre instead of enmasse like during the Lion King show.

I loved Mickey's Philharmagic!! We saw it twice during our last trip and intend to see it again.

I, too, don't like the entrance and in particular the lack of a "Countdown to Next Show" like the Country Bear Jamboree.

We were getting a FP during EE and the CM said the next show was "right about to start" and there was room. Well, not so. We were there during an incredibly slow time and every ride was a walk. We were one of two groups seeing the show at the time. It would have been much better to get the FP and see it during a busier time of the day.

We love the show, but agree that its too short and doesn't have enough Mickey.

B]Philharmagic was worth the one hour we stood in line to see the show! [/B]
We were at MK over Thanksgiving week on a very busy night. FPs for every FP attraction were long since gone. Philharmagic had a one hour wait, but my husband really wanted to see it, so our family of four lined up for the show. After a one hour wait, we finally were seated to see the show. It was our favorite of all the 3-D shows, and we love them all. We can't wait to see it again, although we do hope the line is a little shorter next time!

DH and I loved Philharmagic - saw it 3 times on our December trip. We plan to see it a few more times during our upcoming trip in May. :) I think it is a good mix of classic and recent Disney characters (although I would LOVE to see more of Simba... he's my favorite character).

We were not overly thrilled with it either but I think that is because we love all the corny things at the Muppet show and there was none of that here. I did read somewhere that the narration was kept at a miniumum so that people from all countries could enjoy it.

Sort of like the new show they put in over at Diamond Horseshoe Review, not our cup of tea, BUT if we had a dear little one with us it would be a whole different cup of tea! Some things are just plain better when viewed through the eyes of a child.

To quote Ricky "You can't please everyone"! Have never found any lack of things to do on our many trips and they are usually a week or more so I am not complaining. (grin)

My DH and I (mid-40's, kids grown and not along for the trip) absolutely LOVED this show. We were there during a very slow time a few weeks ago and probably saw it at least 10 times. I wanted to buy a soundtrack of the songs included but they don't have one. But...I bought three Disney CDs from WDW at $20 each and am still listening to them as I drive through my life here in the frozen north. I am instantly transported to the laughing place when I listen. These are the best souvenirs yet, what a way to relive the Disney magic.
