I know that NBC is making a bigger deal out of Friends ending, but does anyone agree with me that Frasier will be missed at *least* as much? Personally I feel more emotional about losing Frasier. To think they plan to replace shows of that caliber with The Apprentice as their Thursday night heavy-hitter.

This is such a big season for show endings. First there was Sex and the City, then the big NBC shows, plus Angel.

(This after recently having to get over Buffy ending -- did anyone but me watch those? DH was also sad that Joss Whedon's Firefly show on FOX got cancelled so quickly, although that wasn't really a show ending since they never really let it get going.)

DH also says that Drew Carey is ending, because it turns out that even though they yanked that show from the air a long time ago, they have been filming episodes ever since because in 2001 they had signed a contract that went through 2004. Maybe we'll see those as "filler" on ABC, but it is another show ending.

Very, very sad  over losing FRASIER! Really liked all the characters and storyline on that show. As for FRIENDS.....never, ever watched it! :guilty:

I think I read yesterday that Kelsey Grammer (spelling) was in talks in making another sitcom with the Frasier Crane Character. So who knows. I'm sure if you do a yahoo search for the news story you'll find it.

Yes I'm beginning to notice the only 2 shows left on TV that I watch that will return next year are Everybody Loves Raymond and the Sopranos. And I think that they each have this season and next left at most.

:(

While I have enjoyed watching both Friends and Frasier (not regularly, though), I'll probably miss Frasier more since I always found it funnier than Friends.

I wouldn't be surprised if NBC filled their Must-See Thursday with The Apprentice, since it has really been quite the hit for them. It just shows how the TV industry is slowly moving away from sitcoms, and towards more reality-based shows. Hopefully this trend peaks and dies soon, because I'm getting a bit tired of all the reality shows that are popping up like mushrooms! (Thanks to FOX, 'The Swan' was the absolute last straw for me.)

I like those shows too, and have heard they are thinking of ending them :(

I will really miss Frasier also. It has always been one of my favorite shows. :(

I'll miss Friends and Frasier too. I'm still sad that my favourite show the x-files ended but it looks like my other favourite show Stargate sg1 is going to carry on for another season (but even it might be the last.)
But there is still ER and I love Las Vegas which has just started.

I will miss Frasier almost as much as Friends. Two big shows ending at once, boohoo!!! I am with those of you who love ELR!

I do not personally care for Friends, but Frasier is one of my favorite shows, I'm so upset that I forgot to watch the next-to-last episode last night, but I will be tuned in next week for sure.
Not to mention that Season Three of Frasier comes out on DVD May 25th (I already have one and two).

I'm not sure I've ever watched an entire episode of Frasier, I just never found it funny.

It is kind of sad to see the loss of so many sitcoms though. There were so many great sitcoms in the 80's and 90's and now there just aren't many left.

My favorite shows that will be left are hour long drama's, not too many favorite sitcoms left.

I dont really watch much tv but 2 of my favorite shows ended or are ending this year. First it was Sex and the City--I really miss it and now Friends. I have no interest in the reality shows.

To me the reality shows can be enjoyable while I'm watching them, but they're not memorable the way a quality comedy can be.

I live reality.

Give me silly, happy sitcoms. By the end of the day, I've had my fill of reality - I need something that doesn't require a lot of thinking and makes me smile.

Maybe that's why I like WDW so much....:scratchin

I will definitely miss Frasier. Only watched one episode of Friends in ten years. That was on a flight to Oklahoma City. Got Tivo all set up to record the final episode of Frasier.

I love Frasier -- it has the best ensemble cast on TV, hands down. Such great actors, all of them. I'll definately be sad to see it go, even though I don't watch it regularly anymore.

Those are a couple of good sitcoms, but I have no emotional attachment to them. We can continue to see them in syndication:D
