Friends coming to GF

We will be staying at GF in April...
We have friends meeting us at the hotel around 5pm for dinner (they are staying off site). Can they park at the GF from around 5-10pm? We won't be doing the parks or anything... just dinner at the hotel and watching fireworks from the beach.

Just want to make sure they don't run into parking issues when they get here.

Parking at a resort is allowed for about three hours for dining reservations; they may or may not be given a parking pass.

Resorts that are close to amentities, such as MK, may be stricter than others that are on the perimeter of the parks. For obvious reasons, resorts closer to the parks tend to have people who think they can go to breakfast there, then park all day, avoiding the parking fee.

However, they can valet park for however long they want. If they feel they will go past the three hour limit, they should valet park.

I would suggest that they valet park. The self-parking lot at the GF is a bit far. I always valet when staying there.

I'm pretty sure that if they do any park that day and pay for parking, they can also park at the TTC without having to pay again (they just need to hang on to their receipt). I don't know if that will work out cheaper than paying for the valet. From the TTC, GF is just a short monorail ride away.

Thank you! I think I will tell them to valet park. They won't be doing a park that day as they will just be flying in that afternoon. Does anyone know how much it is for the valet? I've never stayed at the GF... I keep hearing about the far walk from self parking to the hotel. I think we may want to valet park our car also. Is it a per day fee or one time only fee?
