Friends at a Different Resort

Hey all-

First off, I'm new here to the Camping Boards- but not to the DISboards. I haven't been on in months, and couldn't remember my password. I had to make a new account, but luckily, the name I have now is just a little off of my original- ears4all! Anyways.....

Next year we are staying in the cabins. We have some friends that might be going with us. If they stay at a different resort, are we allowed to go swimming over there? Are they allowed to come to the Fort, to swim or start out the day with?

Also, does anyone have a picture of the updated main pool with the slide? Want to have a picture of it......

Technically "No Pool Hoping" but since you will be with a registered guest and they with you I don't think you will have a problem...Just don't broadcast it to be safe.

Ditto mnsprk. My parents live in FL and often meet us at WDW, we've stayed at both the same resort and different resorts, never a problem for the one or two times that we swim at one another's resorts pools.

However, can I beg of you to get your friends to stay at the Fort with you? We waste SO MUCH TIME with logistics back and forth between resorts. Especially when DS wants to spend the night with grandma and grandpa. UGH! Please, take it form someone who has doen it both ways...stay at the same resort! (we're fresh off of a different resorts trip - can you tell?)

Thanks! We aren't even sure if they are going to be there with us, but we wanted to make sure with anything. If they do come, we can probably convince them, but if not, like they are at the Beach Club, we would probably want to visit them.

You all seem like that you know about the Fort. What about transportation? Marina? Buses? Golf carts? What is easiest?
