Friends and Family FP question

We are traveling with friends in a couple of weeks who are not staying with us at YC. They had intended to stay at the Dolphin, but have now decided to stay at the Gaylord. We made all of our FB reservations together. Since were inside of 30 days, will their hotel cancellation be an issue? I’m thinking it won’t, but wanted to check.

No, it won't be an issue, but not because you're within the 30 day window. Because you have a WDW resort reservation, you can make FP for anyone on your F&F list, whether they are staying on property or not, at your 60 day mark as long as someone on your reservation is included in that FP.
