If I knew there was availablity, then my niceness ends and I would have her bf figure out a way to get a laptop to her lol

Hopefully she will be back in action soon though and she can check it out for me, if there isn't anything I still have the 35% and am grateful for the times in the past she helped me out

Today I received a confirmation in the mail listing wheelchair access with roll-in shower 1 queen bed, 1 day bed and 1 sleeper chair. We would much prefer 2 queens rather than a sleeper chair and I thought (and the email says) that's what we booked. Who should I call about the discrepancy -- the cast line listed on the email, or the general reservations line, or the special reservations line for accessible rooms (if that even still exists -- I have a number from some old threads). Any guidance would be appreciated!

Questions about F&F vs military rate. We currently have a reservation for July 2015 at CR (CL) with a 40% off military rate. Great discount as far as we are concerned. My husband's mom is eligible for a CM discount which could just be the same 40%. Or it could be a little more and possibly discount dining some?? Torn on whether or not to switch to F&F discount.

This would be the first time using her discount for rooms so we aren't sure if we would have to rebook or if she can just call with our confirmation number. She's doing some investigating for us and I told her we would ask here as well. She's elderly and doesn't do Disney anymore.

It's *possible* there would be a higher room discount and discounted dining, but you wouldn't know until a few weeks prior to going. They're released in blocks of roughly 6 weeks. And they could potentially change the way they're doing the CM discounts for 2015. I feel like they change the policies and requirements every year, so who knows.

We are the flip of that. We are currently booked room only with friends and family because I was wanting to book before the new military rates came out for the fall 2014-2015. Another benefit of friends and family over military would be (at least I believe this is true but someone can clarify) you can add the dining plan without the need to purchase tickets as part of a package. We are booked for end of September/beginning of October. I was going to wait until the 21 day mark suggested here to call and check for a discounted dining plan. We would not want the dining plan unless it was the @30% discount plus extra 10% off room they we have been able to get in the past since we never use all the meal credits. But pp mentioned 6 weeks so I maybe I should call sooner

They wouldn't check the CM discount for you. The CM would have to call. Thy can check pricing without actually changing the current reservation. But if you needed two different discounts they'd have to break the reservation up into two different reservations - one with the CM discount and one with the military for dates applicable.

Sort of.

They'll go to modify your reservation and apply the new discount. From there, depending upon which price is better they'll confirm that you want to modify to the new discount or cancel the modification and leave you with the old one/price.

So yes, they'll see which one is better before they make any permanent changes.

The discounted dining plan ONLY comes with the deeper room discount. You wouldn't be able to get one and not the other.

Just call and ask them to check availability with the new 50% friends and family discount with the discounted dining plan.

that wasn't true with us. I am under F&F with the CM discount. once she made the initial reservation, I have been able to call and get the bigger discounts as they have come out, switch packages, etc.


Maybe it just depends on the CM you get
