yes it is that time of year when we in North America spring ahead. Except for a few cities in Canada I know of that do not and no, I do not understand why LOL

So remember when closing tonight to put you clock ahead 1 hour. Ouch a 2:00am closing definately not for me LOL.

And no this is not and April fools joke. Pinky swear :)

Thanks for the reminder! I had forgotten....

I was reminded earlier when writing "Narnia on DVD" for April 4th.

Time to Spring forward!

I don't want to lose an hour of sleep. Yuck. Oh well, it'll be lighter out more often!

I hate putting my clock an hour forward expecially when you were up until 1 that night.

In Arizona we dont change. VMK use to be open for me from 8am to 11PM now its 7am to 10 starting today.

I thought I went to bed at 10:30, when I went at 11:30? @_@ Evil...

Uh.. When I have to get up at 6:00 everyday.. I am really not looking forward to going to school tomorrow.

I remembered to change my clocks. I had to remember because I also had to change all the settings on my pc and and vcr to actually observe dst (Indiana never has before til now).

I don't like the idea of changing clocks. It's too much like we're trying to mess with time, Among other major problems I have with it.
Sorry, but my body clock doesn't change. So now I have to adjust the time I take my medicines, which happens to be at a less convienent time for me. :(

LOL I changed one of my clocks only to find that because it has an internal date sensor it changes itself- which is great- until 2007 when they will again change the dates for daylight savings time...

in 2007 we will spring forward on the second Sunday of March (instead of first Sunday of April) and spring back on the Second sunday of November instead of last Sunday of October.

So one more month of daylight savings time in 2007... I remember when it was the last Sunday of April (my birthday usually fell the same time) and last of October- but Reagan added that extra month- I guess Bush wanted more evenings in the sun also...

:) But the problem is...We don't get more sunlight at night now. We get less. We just got more sunlight in the mornings. And I am not a morning person. :sad2:

Only because it's summer and we would naturally get longer days.

Or...maybe I'm just confused. :confused3
This kind of thing just always confused me. lol

LOL. I know what you mean. I've been trying to think about it, but it's confusing. I'm pretty sure though that we get more light in the evening.

The days do naturally lengthen a bit with it staying sunnier longer in the evenings as spring turns to summer- as a matter of fact on Saturday night I noticed it was still daylight past 7pm here-

but the thing I don't like daylight savings time is I go to work in the dark now... because I get to work at 6:30 in the morning tomorrow it will be the same darkness as when it is 5:30am and that is still pretty dark here-

And if they are going to lengthen the time- then it will still be very light for Trick or Treat time (not that anyone does the door to door thing anymore here) but that spoils some of the fun lol
