Just wanted to post this as it seems lately I've read about 'unmagical' experiences with calling CRO or other phone calls to the World.

I finalized some PS's last night, and had a very pleasant time talking with the CM Joyca. For me, the magic is beginning. (Maybe its just that its only 11 days away!!)

ok, that's it, I'm just getting excited and talking on the phone with someone in Florida is enough pixie dust for this girl!! :sunny:

I have to say I've been very lucky. This has been my time to make PSs and every single CM at Disney dining has been downright friendly. ALso the last time I called to make a payment on our reservation I mentioned to the CM that we come every year and are AP holders and never get a postcard or email (I was joking and laughing). SHe said hold on a minutes and let me see something, two minutes later she came back with a code that was better than the AP rate that came out a few days later. I think a bad CM is the exception, however when you are the one who gets the bad CM it stays with you and alters your perception of Disney.

I think the CM's at WDWDine are much more friendly than the regular ones. Because when I called the Dine line, I got a much more friendly CM, and I didn't want to hang up. I felt like I was at WDW

I have always gotten wonderful CM's at CRO and WDW Dine. Although the ones at Dining have always been more fun to talk to. I called a couple of weeks ago to make PS's for our last minute trip and Jean Lousie managed to get us a PS for CRT! She was wonderful and very helpful.

I called CRO yesterday and booked a room at POR for our next trip. The CM was nice, nothing special. I wanted to make a few request, non-smoking, AB section. She said to wait until I call back to apply the AAA discount to make my request. I said ok. It wasn't a big deal.
I called today to pay my deposit and spoke with Hooper. He was so nice. He realized yesterday the CM put the wrong phone number down and he fixed it. He added my request to my ressie and said shame on her when I told him the women I spoke with yesterday didn't want to. He told me to write his name down in case I have any questions. He was very nice. :)

The WDWDine CMs are the same "regular" CRO employees :)...they handle both bookings and PS ressies. Which one they take depends on call volume and the random call routing.

The Dine line and the CRO CMs aren't always Disney employees, either. I don't have the heart to tell the OP she might have been talking to someone in Houston, but it's entirely possible.... Continental Reservationists also double duty as CRO CMs.... nonetheless....

HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!!!!

All to often we only hear about the bad CM's... it's nice to hear of a good one for a change...

Thanks for letting us know!
