Friending a Disser?

I'm very limited when it comes to technology, so realize this is going to be a simple question with probably a simple answer

I have been contacted to be a friend to a Disser. What does this entail, or maybe I should ask, how do you accept a friendship, and how involved is it?

It really isn't involved at all. When someone friends you their name shows up as your friend when people click on your profile.

I can't see any more coming out of that.
