if it's catching? She's my college housemate and I'm going back to college tomorrow. She has either glandular fever (which I've had) or tonsilitus (I have no tonsils), but I'd like to know if I could get sick from it anyway.

I feel rude and selfish to ask her, but I don't want to be sitting in our tiny living room with her and get sick too...I've got too much to do!

Also, if it is catching (I've just googled and it is, maybe not to me but our other housemates), I really think she should go home or stay in her room. Especially as all our exams and things are coming up. I tried to talk to her about it but she said her room is boring and she doesn't want to go home.... :confused3

I've heard airborn works well. I also think it would be ok to ask her if it is catchy. Usually if you are on medication for 24 hours you are no longer contagious
