friend cruising with us

My son is bringing his friend along on the cruise. They are both 17. My question is......what paper work do I need for the friend? I have a copy of his med. ins. card, a permission slip from the parents (only says that he will be on vacation with us) . Do I need to spell it out.....where we are going etc.? He has a drivers licence.....does he need a birth cert.? Thanks guys!

He'll need his birth certificate. I would also want the letter from the parents to authorize you to make any necessary decisions re medical treatment in addition to giving permission to go on the trip. I suggest that you discuss w/ DCL in advance to see if there is anything else needed.
